Emeralds are being stolen from Oro Verde, people are disappearing, and no one is who or what they appear to be, even the team from Cabochon Inc who are sent down to clean up the mess. While some assume new roles, others pick away the rubble to discover everyone at the mine is wearing a façade, everyone has a secret, everyone is lying, but why? Although they head there expecting to identify who is stealing their gemstones, they end up become entwined in a multitude of illegal activities, many stemming from connections to Columbian drug cartels. Andi, Ryan, Brad and Liam soon learn there is nothing their nemesis will not do in his lust for money and power – but they still don’t know who he is. They eventually learn that the four of them are a last obstacle to the successful execution of an evil, deadly plan that will destroy all that Cabochon set out to achieve.
