This book draws from the fairy tales and wives tales from all over Europe and other parts of the world, and I could't get enough of them when I was a kid. Along with other books, I gave my old copy of this to my boy after reading it to him, and he asks the same questions I once asked my grandma, like, 'How can he do that?', 'How can that happen?' and 'Can animals really talk?' This book inspires kids to read so that they can learn to answer questions and know what is out there so they'll know what to do when they come upon it.
