About the Author
Andy grew up in the Raleigh area of central North Carolina. His interests included volunteering, outdoor adventures, spending time outdoors and finding insight in nature. He has been passionately involved in mentoring since the age of 14, working for the Boys and Girls Club, the Triangle Area YMCA, Raleigh Parks, Wake County Parks, and Schoolhouse of Wonder. Andy also helped found a local Tracking and Survival Group.
Andy's training includes attending classes at the famous Tom Brown Junior's Tracking, Nature, and Wilderness Survival School; taking John Young's Art of Mentoring course; and studying with expert tracker Kevin Reeves, as well as many local trackers.
