Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, you read Guardians: The Quo (Part 1)! I was on the edge of my seat, and truly sad that part 2 is not available. It is hard to explain, how you can be so eager to finish a book, but at the same time you don't want to reach the end because then you have no more to read.... Please hurry and release part 2.. the suspense is killing me!!!! Btw, Lola St.Vil is definly one of my new favorite authors, and I can't wait to dive off into some of her other books :D

In all honesty, and this goes for all of the books in the series so far, the editing is terrible. There are so many mispellings, grammatical errors and other typos that it's almost too annoying to read. But the plot is solid and sucks you into so deeply that you don't even know how you reached the end of the book. One huge issue I have is why is Emmy asking who the Quo people are and not understanding how they can be "half human half angel" when she was there when the guardians first met them? Did the writer forget what she had written before or what...

I have read the entire entire Guardian series, and what has been written of the Noru series, and found all of the books to be both good and bad. The story lines are terrifically creative and the characters are lovable and, while very immature, still strong and appealing. However, the editing is so bad, that it's distracting and annoying. The second Noru book is an improvement, although it still has loads of mistakes, but the rest of the books have spelling, grammar, duplicate and alternative words or phrases, and confusing sentence structures on most pages. It's like reading a working draft on some pages, and just stupid errors on others. I really like this author's books. I just wish I could read her stuff without constantly needing to stop to figure out what she's trying to say.

If you like paranormal romance, then you'll love the Guardians series and the sequel series, Noru, from Lola StVil. Great characters, action, and passion.

I'm trying to slug through the series but am struggling for a few reasons. The series is very predictable, and suffers from inconstancies between books. Also it has some glaring typos throughout the series.
