this is my favorite baby book. this is one of four that we give at baby showers. we've noticed that very few people give books at showers. this purchase was for my sister-in-law. as she began opening it, she started to cry when she realized what the gift was, because she used to read all these books to my daughter when she was small.

I watch this series with my grandson every night at bedtime. It is truly beautifully written and illustrated. Everyone is full of good morals and good examples: The loving and respectful character interaction; The spotlight, on the magnificence of nature and the never ending adventures that exist there; The peaceful world in which they live without unfriendly characters or danger; and, Big Nut Brown Hare does a fine job of nurturing and gently guiding Little Nut Brown Hare to make his own wise, thoughtful choices and to solve child-sized problems.

I have given the book and the Nutbrown Hare stuffed animal to two families - they are thrilled to receive reminders of their own loving histories. How many children have said to their loved ones, "I love you THIS much!" as they spread their arms as far as they will go? A real treasure.

'Guess How Much I Love You' is just a great children's book. It is very sweet and beautiful with so many great illustrations! At our school we know how important it is to maintain a summer reading program for your children - studies show that over time (many school years) children whose parents do not make the effort to have them read during vacation - well, they do fall behind. The perception can be created that they are not as bright as the other students. So - please read to your children this summer!!!

This is a great read for kids, and both of my girls have enjoyed it at various ages. The pictures are good, the imagery is good, and the sentiment is good.

I really like this book. It is a sweet story of a mother bunny and her little bunny. The mother bunny is trying to explain to the little bunny just how much she cares for her little bunny. The illustrations in this book are amazing and really capture the love between mother and child. This little bunny is so sweet and innocent. You will love reading this book to your children and telling them just how much you love them! I highly recommend this book to people of many ages!

This book makes for a special bedtime story read by Dad (can be read by Mom, too). The illustrations and story are excellent and makes a great collection in your toddler's library for bedtime stories. This is the type of book your child will pass on to their own children. Some examples from the large, hard-bound book: "I love you right up to the moon, he said and closed his eyes. Oh, that's far, said Big Nutbrown Hare. That is very, very, far." "Big Nutbrown Hare settled Little Nutbrown Hare into his bed of leaves. He leaned over and kissed him good night."

Summary: When a little hare describes how much he loves his daddy hare, the daddy hare always comes up with a bigger description of how much he loves his baby hare. They go back and forth. The little hare says he loves his daddy as far as he can reach, but the daddy hare can reach his arms farther. This continues through the entire story unit the baby hare falls asleep. Critique: This story shows the love that a father and son have for one another. It is fantasy because these two hares talk during the entire book, but the emotion of love portrayed in this story is realistic. The style of this story is engaging and flows easily throughout the book. The language and word choice relates to the setting and characters of the book making the theme easy and appealing to the reader. Teacher Use: A teacher could use this book in a young class to teach them about love or other different emotions that people have towards one another. The teacher could lead a discussion with the students about being able to express their love or other emotions to people properly. The class could write a story or letter to someone they love about how much they love them and why. Media: Watercolor

A gentle, sweet classic. Big Nutbrown Hare and Little Nutbrown Hare (child and daddy) have a friendly competition to see who loves the other the most. The drawings are soft and quiet, but full of humor and personality. Destined for bedtime.

This story of two talking hares makes it a great fantasy. As the book goes along the two hares discover that love is a hard thing to measure and no matter how much you try to measure love it can't be done. It has wonderful setting taking place off in the woods somewhere transforming from day to night.

I absolutely love this book .. I received it as a gift from my nephew Jacob. This book is deeply moving - the conversation in the story bears striking similarities to conversations I often have with my nephew. In this case, my review is more about my relationship with my nephew and the emotional connection i have with him, as highlighted by this book, than it is about the book itself.Regardless, every time I see the cover I smile.

A wonderful book about the love between parent and child. Conveys the idea that love is endless. This is the first book that I read to my newborn baby girl Evie.

A sweet book about a child telling a parent how much they love them. Detailed illustrations are expertly spread throughout and convey a sense of movement. I found myself wishing however that the adult would simply accept the child¿s love without trying to ¿one-up¿ him. Both my daughters love this book and have taken to telling me they love to the moon and back.

This is a heartwarming modern fantasy story about the love between little Nutbrown Hare and big Nutbrown Hare. While this story uses hares instead of people, children will love the silly way in which the hares share how much they love each other. Children will also be able to make connections between this story and their own families.

Big and Little Nutbrown Hare tell each other how much they love each other and spend their time comparing how much one loves the other. No matter how much Little Brown Hare tries to explain how much he loves Big Nutbrown Hare, Big Nutbrown Hare always seems to love Little Nutbrown Hare more. -Great for teaching a lesson about the essence of outdoing one another-Also good for teaching a lesson in love
