Jodi Fukumoto resides on the windward side of O'ahu where she was born and raised. Her origami art has been displayed at local and school libraries, the Japanese Cultural Center's 1999 New Year Festival, and at the Bishop Museum, where she worked as a crafter/demonstrator in the Hall of Excellence. She has taught classes at Windward Adult Education and at the Temari Center for Asian and Pacific Arts. Hawaiian Style Origami is her first book. She is currently working on another, which will feature simpler origami for keikis, beginners, and the young at heart.
