About the Author
All of us are products or our childhood, and I am more directly than most. California's been my home for fifty years, but I was born in Ohio. My life changed drastically when I was six and my father died, incredibly from a neighbour's misdirected golf ball. My mother became a teacher, with long hours. Forbidden to leave the house until she got home, I became an avid reader. And fell in love with Jane Austin and King Arthur.
Reading is still one of my favourite activities, although now it's also my reward after a stint on the computer. It the writing's gone well I doubly enjoy it. After twenty years of being a real estate broker I walked into my bosses office and announced I was quitting to write. With both kids raised I now devote my time to the wonderful joy of writing.
Few things in my life have been so wonderfully satisfying.
I hope you like reading my books as much as I like writing them!
