Guns of Shivalik is the story of a Sikh family in Punjab. It is cautionary tale - the story of a man whose lust for women and hunting has far-reaching consequences on the lives of many around him.
The man's wife is a hard-working and respectful woman who tried her best to fill the roles of wife and mother. She deserved more of life.

About the Author
Hari Thandi came to the UK in June 1962 from Punjab as an undergraduate and read business studies before qualifying as a cost account, later working in the motor and aviation industries.
In 1976 he established his own practice in Leeds, specializing in assisting first-generation immigrants. He has been a member of Leeds Community Relations Council since 1968 and continues to contribute to the voluntary sector.
Guns of Shivalik is his first novel.
