I am an experienced chef/cook and bought this for my son who has just started his first professional job. It's well organized, starting out with what a well organized kitchen needs in the fridge and pantry along with necessary tools. The recipes are organized logically; Breakfast, Lunch, Muscle Snacks, Fast weeknight Meals, Eating Outside, Cooking for a Crowd. Date Night, Celebration Meals and Drinks. I liked the book enough that I purchased a copy for myself. This is a great unintimdating primer with easy to follow instructions and easily obtained ingredients. A great gift for the young man going off to live on his own for the first time.
