Back to Sam's for more cocktails and "#Fish Wish"! The Fisher brothers have a good life, but one aspect of their lives doesn't come without drama. Love! Frank, the oldest brother is a gentle and thoughtful soul. He is stuck in a rut. Not happy in his relationship because he can't walk away out of obligation. Claudia shares an apartment with her best friend who is lusting after one of the brothers. This is what leads Claudia to the bar and instantly, her life and Frank's are turned upside down. It's insta love. The moment their eyes meet, Frank and Claudia are mesmerised. For the first time in so long, Frank does something out of character. He goes out of his way to get close to Claudia. She isn't immuned and the instant connection is a pull they can't resist, even if they hardly know each other. Claudia is single and enjoys the way she feels in Frank's company. He feels the same, but is caught in a dilemma. He doesn't know how to come clean with Claudia about being in a relationship, or how to make a break with his miserable life. Although, he has control over his physical urges, he isn't so lucky with his emotions. The inevitable happens when, Shelby, his long time girlfriend walks in the bar and Claudia witnesses their interactions. She is gutted and feels cheated. Frank is more miserable than ever. The question is, will he do the right thing? After all, he isn't doing himself, Shelby or Claudia any favours. Their lives are in turmoil and a communication problem makes matters worse for Claudia and Frank. Frank has a great personality, but his conscience and sense of duty don't do anything for his happiness. Although I feel for him, I think that he would have been better off being honest with Claudia. Then again, the story might have taken a different direction. Claudia values honesty and fidelity and this situation sends her in an emotional spiral. She can't help the way she feels. Shelby knows that the relationship is a dead end, but doesn't want to let go. I find it hard to comprehend that they stayed in such an awkward relationship for so long without addressing the elephant in the room. This installment is different from what I expected, but I like the way it progresses to get to the long time coming conclusion. It's a pleasing read and I look forward to reading Ryan's story.

Frank is a nice guy caught up and an unfulfilling relationship. 'Cloud dee ya' is s beautiful girl with issues after her father left when she was four. Can Claudia see Frank who he is, and not what her father is? Can Frank see the promises he made when a teenager don't work for adults. A great book, lovely characters, I didn't like the choices that Frank made in regards to Shelby and Claudia but I guess that was the point.
