Those are the many names Tandieka, would want to be remembered by her loved ones, friends, and family. Tandieka, an immigrant from Guyana was raised by her single mother of nine children. And while her upbringing was far from perfect, she would nevertheless go on to graduate from the University of Guyana, soon after she started a career in education, and then become a co-host on the popular morning show in Guyana called 'First Look.' It was in America, where she really blossomed, she earned two Master's degrees, at Kean and Pace Universities, hosted her very own radio show 'The International Experience with Tandieka' and got married to the man that would ultimately be her caretaker. She was the mother of a very smart, sweet, little boy who she loved forever and a day. Her sonshine. Tandieka, had dreams yet to be fulfilled before her life ended far too soon. She had hoped to see her son grow into the man she imagined him to become. She had hopes to one day work for Google or Amazon and one day buy her dream home. While those hopes are gone, she will live on, and her stories will hopefully inspire generations more, that with hard work, and determination almost anything can be done.
