One of the first manga writers I've ever read was Tomei by Junji Ito, I was so entranced by his manga style and stories I had to find more by him. Gyo was the second manga I purchased by Ito and remains one of my favorite stories (I am also lucky enough to have the first edition of this volume). It is very difficult to find stories like this as I am a huge fan of horror manga, and I have to say: They really don't make them like this anymore.

This story is so creepy you can smell the stench through the pages! His style is truly horrifying! If you love horror you should read it!
