Bryce bests Dash match after match, disappointed her rugged and handsome opponent turns out to be an underwhelming adversary. Secrets are exposed. Truths defeat lies. Bryce is poised to win this battle in a landslide.

Then Dash breaks all the rules and tips the scales.

Gypsy King by Devney Perry was a sexy, suspenseful, and thrilling ride! With this book Devney takes her readers on a journey not previously taken with her other works. And Holy Moley! It was edgy and dangerous, passionate and at times humorous. I just couldn't get enough! Bryce Ryan has nothing to lose at this point. After her dream job comes to a standstill, she's ready for the next phase. She uproots her life in Seattle and moves back to Montana. As the new reporter for the Clifton Forge Tribune, Bryce is ready to put her passion to practice. She's out for a story, one that will disclose all the details on the disbanded Tin Gypsy Motorcycle Club. She's hungry for the truth and she will stop at nothing until she discovers it. Kingston 'Dash' Slater has put the club life behind him and is content being a law abiding citizen. He spends his time fixing up classic cars and building custom bikes. That's until he meets a beautiful long legged brunette. He's immediately smitten with Bryce until he discovers she's the new reporter in town. Yikes. Can we just talk about how absolutely fun it was to read these two interact. Bryce was a firecracker and kept Dash on his toes. It was such a sexy, tic for tact, non relationship. The more they got into each other's space the more the attraction intensified, becoming an explosive affair that was hard to deny #swoon. Devney Perry has captivated me and blown my mind with this one. So much so that I'm getting anxious for book 2!! Anything this woman writes I need to consume. Gypsy King may be read as a standalone; however the story interconnects perfectly through the series. Be prepared to be cast under Dash's spell. This series promises to be one hell of a ride!

***ALL THE STARS*** With clever writing, Devney Perry contrives a heartening tale that is witty, sexy, and more deeply woven in suspense than ever before! After realizing her life had not turned out the way she dreamed, Bryce Ryan gives up on the big city and moves from Seattle back to Montana. As the new reporter in town at the Clifton Forge Tribune, Bryce is out for a story that will not only disclose why the Tin Gypsy Motorcycle Club disbanded but expose the former members as the criminals they still are because she is not fooled by their law abiding citizens act. In a small-town where the big news is non-existent, Bryce will not wait for the story to come to her which brings her up close and personal with the alluring Dash Slater. Kingston Dash Slater has put his violent ways behind him since the Tin Gypsies closed their doors. He's content spending his days restoring classic cars and building custom motorcycles while unwinding at The Betsy in the evenings. That is until Bryce Ryan walks into his garage. Now his days consist of proving to Bryce the Gypsies are clean and innocent while his nights, well, he'll find a way to be near this firecracker of a woman. The one Bryce once sought to condemn is the one she's fallen into this back and forth, tic for tact, type of non-relationship with. There is no way Bryce likes the Gypsy King... except truce after truce, this battle of wits between her and Dash lead to more than just an investigative partnership. Devney Perry is well versed in writing vividly. So much so that her words do more than just stay on the page–they jump out at you, captivating your mind, and imprinting your heart. Though this novel is a standalone, the plot in itself is an interconnected one that will intertwine itself throughout the series. Full of quips and allurement, Gypsy King is a conundrum of intrigue from start to finish! Final thoughts? You are going to go crazy for the Tin Gypsy series!

Once again Devney Perry gives us a book that is so incredible, you can’t stop yourself from devouring it without coming up for air! The long awaited, much anticipated Tin Gypsy series is here!! One hot reporter nosing for a story. At the right place at the right time. One hunky ex MC member trying to live life on the right side of the law. Sparks fly… “Our eyes met and my heart boomed, stealing my breath.” and the unplayable get played! BAM! The Gypsy King is the first book in the series and Dash is definitely the King!! Bryce is the take no prisoner kind of gal with relentless determination. She’s recently back into the reporting gig and eager to make a name for herself. What better way to do that then to reveal the truth about the local MC? She’s not buying into the town’s belief that the MC is law abiding and friendly, she’s determined there is a story buried that needs to be revealed and she’s just the person to do it. But as she investigates, things get complicated. That complication is spelled D-A-S-H. Being on opposing sides, they are supposed to be against each other. But they can’t stop thinking about what it would be like to be literally against one another. “Everything about her pissed me off because of my body’s reaction.” The magnetic attraction becomes too strong to fight. They give into one steamy encounter and the sparks are volcanic! They SHOULD go their separate ways. Yep, just walk away. “Dash was a villain in every way, but had that stopped me from foolishly hoping he was more? Nope. I was ashamed of myself. Not for the sex. For the hope.” Yes, Devney gives us lots of combustible steam, but she also intertwines a brilliant story showcasing the reality that nothing is ever what it seems. The more involved Bryce becomes the more she realizes nothing is black and white. She starts to question what’s really important. “Then Bryce ruined it all with her sexy smile and shiny hair. She ruined me.” At the same time that Dash realizes how strong his feelings for Bryce really are, he also realizes how close she is to uncovering buried truths. One nudge and everything the club has worked so hard to achieve will all come crumbling down. He needs to shut her down, to walk away. Will these two have what it takes to walk away for good? Or will they be able to hurdle mountains to make it work? The bigger question becomes will they be the ones with the choice or is there someone else pulling the strings? Wowza! Devney weaves her stories well. Two fantastic characters who clearly belong together, yet they can’t. Trust and opposite sides are and will always be an issue. Devastation, heartache, steam, and love, this book has it all. In The Gypsy King, Bryce and Dash get their story, but the larger mystery that plays throughout the story is yet to be solved. That will continue through the next book. Speaking of which….. I CAN”T wait for Isaiah and Genevieve!! Hats off to Ms. Perry for another fantastic series!!

Wow! What a great start to an all new MC series. Bryce moves back home to a small town as a newspaper reporter…thinking she can still hit it big with that career making story. But when she finds herself investigating a murder and looking into the local former MC the Tin Gypsy…Dash gives her more than what she was looking for. He’s got that hot bad boy vibe that I fall in love with. Bryce is no shy wallflower…she gives as good as she gets. She’s a strong feisty heroine that will fight for the truth no matter what. The heat between these two is scorching and I always melt when they banter about who is winning. Loved the suspense, twists and the ongoing mystery. I have so many theories and can’t wait to find out what’s going on. What’s REALLY going on.

I have enjoyed every book I've read by Davney Perry since the very first one. Dash and Bryce were no exception. I just wish she could write faster. I anxiously await the next book in this series, Riven Knight. She continues to create new story themes that grab my interest from the beginning to the last page. I would highly recommend any of her books!

Gypsy King by Devney Perry is the first book in her brand new Tin Gypsy series. A book that sits in the same world as both the Jamison Valley series and the Lark Cove series but is able to completely standalone from those. This first book was amazing. The writing of Devney Perry is one that speaks to my soul. There is no moment in any of her books where I struggle with the flow, the writing style, or anything else - it's just a smooth ride filled with emotional highs and lows and wonderfully crafted stories. This first story of the members of the now closed Tin Gypsy motorcycle club and the new reporter in town determined to unearth their well kept secrets will take you places you didn't expect to go. Focusing on Kingston Slater, better known as Dash and Bryce Ryan a former TV news anchor turned small town reporter, this story is everything. From the chemistry that immediately sizzles between these two, to the sheer stubborn will and creatively investigative methods of Bryce and the annoyingly serene (outwardly at least) Dash dealing with this reporter who may have the power to bring all the former Tin Gypsy's to their knees. Their attraction in the face of a murder investigation that has them on opposing sides may be the one thing that can get them to join forces and find the truth. But is it enough to finally allow them to trust each other or are they just too different? Enjoy! Coming Soon (ish): Tin Gypsy 2: Riven Knight Tin Gypsy 3: Stone Princess Tin Gypsy 4: Noble Prince Tin Gypsy 5: Court Jester Tin Gypsy 6: Tin Queen

If you’ve ever read a Devney Perry book, you know she always delivers and Gypsy King is no exception. Kingston “Dash” Slater is a former motor cycle club president. Bryce Ryan is a journalist determined to get her story. They are complete opposites and yet perfect for one another. Their constant banter is hilarious and Bryce is no damsel in distress. Not only do we het a romance but Devney Perry gives us a murder mystery too. While Bryce and Dash are busy falling in love they’re also trying to solve the murder. Evidence points to the Tin Gypsies but Dash is determined to prove that’s not true. I can’t wait for Riven Knight to find out who did it and what exactly happened on that mountain!

If you've read Devney Perry previously and loved her, than I’d say there is a huge possibility that you'll love Gypsy King as well. However, let me just say while this may be the same author that created the Jamison series or Lark Cove, it's like she turned her own light off and went darker with the Gypsy King. I loved her older series but I might be a tad obsessed with the first book in Tin Gypsy series. The writing in GK still has that fluid, descriptive feel of all other Devney Perry novels. Gypsy King has a gritty, dark edge and I was lost to it. The characters have strong personalities and they both seem to want to be in control. It’s a battle of wits! Bryce and King are like oil and butter… they work well separately… but if you combine them you can make it even hotter! The dirty talk and sexual tension in GK was thick like fog. These two had instant chemistry. I loved the portrayal of the small town newspaper in Montana. I actually work for one in Vermont. We have a small weekly paper with just 8 employees with half only being part-time. So she did good showcasing the struggle of small town news. I found myself laughing a few times in the beginning with Bryce’s boredom. I swear, there are times I hall asleep sitting right up at my desk! Anyways, Gypsy King is another grand slam for Mrs. Perry. Her writing it deeper and darker with this push, pull between the main characters. I also felt she developed the town and secondary characters perfectly. I’m also astonished by Perry’s writing. Even though GK is so different from her “usual work” it is just as perfect, if not more. I admire when authors stand strong behind a story that talked to them. There’s a ton of secrets and lies but after time, a trust is built and things start to get a bit confusing when it seemed so simple at first! I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.

I love Devney's books and this is a definite departure for her. I loved Gypsy King. It was a great mystery wrapped inside a romance. Bryce is a reporter that is digging her hands into a murder mystery and is causing all kinds of havoc. Dash is part of a local MC club that is intertwined in all things crazy. I loved how there was lots of mystery, more then I have ever seen Devney write. But there was also crazy hot bikers, and a bit of humor too. You really didnt know what to expect with Gypsy King and it kept me guessing. I usually can figure out whats going to happen and for the life of me I couldn't guess what was about to unfold. Please read this new series it is a great book that will have you turning pages.

4 1/2 STARS! Explosive secrets are exposed! In GYPSY KING, Devney Perry's kickoff book in her new Tin Gypsy series, we meet former president Dash of the Tin Gypsy's motorcycle club as he goes head to head with Bryce, a reporter determined to tell the public the story of what's going on in their small town. The characters are well developed and the story line was quick to catch this reader's attention. Dash is electrifying. We learn from the start that he has done bad things, but he comes across as an overall good guy, and when he sets out to clear the former club's name during a murder investigation, we see a loyal side to him. Bryce comes on strong at first as she decrees she will find out what truly happened to disband this club. It doesn't take long after she interacts with Dash for her to change her tune a bit. He's easy on the eyes and want it or not, she's soon under his spell. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a bit of suspense with their romance. It's a former MC, so there's not a lot of action on that front going on, but some of the members are still around and jump in to help when needed. We are left in a bit of a cliffhanger on the mystery we tried to solve throughout this story, but the happily ever after of the couple isn't up in the air.I'm looking forward to the next book in the series and hope to get all of the answers of what happened then!

Gypsy King is a wild ride you don't want to miss! You should literally take everything you think you know about this book, and throw it out the window. I was completely taken from the first page and couldn't stop til I finished, immediately wanting more. The story is filled with plot twists I guarantee you won't see coming. The mystery of the killer will keep you guessing and on your toes, and the drama will have you breathless with anticipation that you'll be talking about for days! This book was SO much more than I expected when I started it and I immediately bought the paperback, cuz I know it'll be one that I'll revisit time and again. Such an amazing new series, that I found myself begging for the next book well in advance. Devney Perry has once again raised the bar!

Devney Perry first won me over with her heartfelt and emotional books. They are always written with so much heart and passion that they never fail to draw me in from start to finish. When I saw that Devney was writing a trilogy about a former MC, I was intrigued. It was a bit different from her other books, but, being that it was from Devney Perry, there was no way that these wouldn't be right atop my TBR. And, so, GYPSY KING. Big win for me, with a strong, take no nonsense female lead, and a cocky hero that is not beyond redemption. Bryce and Dash are an unlikely couple, but once they find that they share a common goal, spending time together only serves to show them that opposites sometimes are the best fit. There is suspense and angst aplenty here, with surprises around every corner. Devney has created a whole new world and group of characters to love, and I can't wait to see what's next for them. I will say that this is not the typical MC read, so, if that's putting you off, I challenge you to give GYPSY KING a chance. You will not be sorry. ❤️

3.5 Stars Gypsy King is the first book in the brand new Tin Gypsy series and as usual showcases Devney Perry's amazing writing skills. One of my most anticipated reads this year, I was really excited to dive into a brand new Devney book, especially one so different than what she normally writes. Unfortunately, I didn't love it as much as I expected to. I'm not really sure what it was, but the storyline was just lacking something, and I had a hard time getting into it and connecting with the characters. I did enjoy Dash, but the character I was drawn to the most actually had very little to do with the plot. While I didn't love this particular storyline, there is no denying the writing itself was outstanding. Her words drew me in and proved just how talented she is. I am looking forward to the next book in this series, and can't wait to get Isaiah's story!

I LOVE all books Devney Perry...but this has stolen my heart as favorite so far! My oh my...what a book!"She's my Emmy". Dash...a badass former biker who falls for the new chick in town.Bryce...the new chick in town...driven, tough, independent, sassy and a totally softy to her badass biker dude...the criminal who stole her heart. Drama. Lots and lots of drama. Bryce takes up residence in town and joins the ranks as a journalist for her family's newspaper. She gets wind of the story of the century...sets out to make a name for herself and crashes head on into Dash and his life. The two team up to clear Dash's family name LOVED every single word of this story! Every. Single. Word. Can't wait for the next in the series Riven Knight! This series is going to be epic!!

Dash & Bryce do not disappoint! I have been waiting for Dash since The Clover Chapel! There is a lot of family dynamics in this book that really bring the past to the present. The relationship between him and his dad was hard to read after Dash looked up to his dad in a different way before this book. Bryce is a spitfire and I thoroughly enjoyed the banter between her and Dash. I laughed out loud more times than I could count! Wonderful start to a new series and I can't wait tl the next book!

Oh my goodness. This book was amazing. I could not put it down. It has scorching hot chemistry with a flare of mystery and suspense. I read well past my bedtime and wanted to continue reading well into the night (darn being a responsible adult), but I made myself put it down to get some sleep. Gypsy King really was that good. The story really pulls you into the world of small town Clifton Forge, Montana, the disbanded Tin Gypsies, and the smoking hot chemistry between the two main characters. Dash Slater and Bryce Ryan are fire. The chemistry between these two was off the freaking charts! Their banter was hilarious and hot at the same time. Did I mention their chemistry? Oh, I did, well let’s mention it again. Dash and Bryce’s chemistry was OFF THE FREAKING CHARTS! These two are one of my favorite Devney couples. They are right next to Willa and Jackson from Timid. Dash Slater is prime book boyfriend material and I need more of him. He is sinfully sexy and knows it. I could read about him all day. Sigh. I loved that Dash was attracted to Bryce beyond just her looks. He loved her fire, her passion about being a journalist and getting the story, her fierceness, her sass, her big heart, and the fact that she doesn’t back down from a challenge or take crap from anyone! He is fiercely protective of Bryce and I find that all sorts of swoon worthy. Bryce is fierce in this story. She didn’t let anyone tell her what to do. Bryce is such a strong female lead and I adore her. She tried to fight her attraction to Dash, but realized it was pointless. The feeling was mutual. Dash couldn’t resist Bryce anymore than Bryce could resist Dash. He was too darn hot for his own good. They complimented one another so well and were amazing together. Overall, this book is a 5/5 for me! The chemistry between Bryce and Dash was amazing, the town was adorable, and the secondary characters were the best! I honestly can’t wait until Riven Knight. I need more of all of those amazing secondary characters (What on earth is going on with Draven?! I need to know!) and Bryce and Dash! The preview Devney left at the end of the Gypsy King was amazing. January cannot come soon enough! I need more of the small town of Clifton Forge and all of its amazing residents! Thank you so much for writing that fantastic story Devney!

If you have read any of Devney Perry’s books then it will be no surprise that she has once again delivered an amazing story. Gypsy King was everything I hoped it would be! I loved the banter and chemistry between Dash and Bryce. But she’s killing me by continuing the mystery... seriously, I need the next book now!!! I need to know what the heck happened on that mountain! I’ll just be over here counting the days until Riven Knight!

3.75 stars--GYPSY KING is the first instalment in Devney Perry’s contemporary, adult TIN GYPSY erotic, MC, romance series focusing on the members of the former Tin Gypsy MC. This is club president Kingston ‘Dash’ Slater, and journalist Bryce Ryan’s story line. The Tin Gypsy is a spin-off from the author’s Jamison Valley series and Clover Chapel #1, but you do not have to have read the previous series to understand or follow Gypsy King. Told from dual first person perspectives (Bryce and Dash) GYPSY KING follows the building relationship and romance between the former Tin Gypsy club president Kingston ‘Dash’ Slater, and journalist Bryce Ryan. A woman was found murdered at a local Clifton Forge hotel, and journalist and new co-owner of the newspaper, Bryce Ryan, is determined to expose the now-defunct Tin Gypsies MC as the killers she believes them to be. Desperate for a story Bryce is willing to point fingers, with the help of the local police, at former club president Draven Slater, before any proof has been revealed but in doing so may have pointed the finger at an innocent man. When Kingston ‘Dash’ Slater offers a compromise to work together to uncover the truth, secrets will be revealed throwing Dash and Draven’s life out of control. What ensues is the building relationship between Dash and Bryce, and the potential fall-out as the Tin Gypsies may have been targeted for sins of the past, and Bryce becomes collateral damage in a war long thought over and done. Bryce Ryan had wanted to make it big in television journalism but things did not go according to plan. Hoping to make a name for herself, Bryce buys into the family owned newspaper, and starts to dig up dirt on the former MC. Dash Slater has kept his nose clean for over a year but the accusations against his father find Dash facing off with the new reporter in town, a woman that stirs up all sorts of anger and emotions. The relationship between Dash and Bryce is one of immediate attraction but Bryce is determined to dig up dirt on the former MC. Aggressive and pushy, Bryce refuses to back down desperate to prove she could once again be a successful reporter. Working together to uncover the truth pushes Bryce and Dash together, pulling at the barely veiled palpable sexual energy. The $ex scenes are intimate and intense without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text. We are introduced to Bryce’s father Lane Ryan; as well as several former members of the Tin Gypsy MC including Dash’s brother Nick, and their father Draven: Emmett, Leo, Isaiah, and bookkeeper Presley. GYPSY KING is a story of family, betrayal, vengeance, and lies. The conflict has yet to be resolved but secrets from the past have stirred up a hornet’s nest of confusion, and had made its’ way to Clifton Forge. The premise is intriguing and captivating; the characters are colorful and energetic; the romance is steamy and hot. GYPSY KING is a strong introduction to the Tin Gypsy series.

Y’all. Hold on to your socks. Devney Perry is about to knock them clean off your feet. I will say that it took me a little bit to sink into this one. I wasn’t sure what to make of Bryce at first and I wasn’t sure she was going to work for me as a heroine. It didn’t take long for Ms. Perry to turn that around, though and having just turned the last page I can honestly say that Bryce was the perfect kind of fierce, independent, lion-hearted heroine. Paired with the sort of low key alpha we got in Dash – their relationship was full of sparky chemistry and banter. I adored the evolution as it moved relatively quickly from enemies to lovers to…more. I felt that ache in my chest. The one I constantly crave. The that indicates I’m feeling the connection and emotion. I loved the fire between them – physical and otherwise. There’s a lot going on in this book, but I didn’t feel like it was at the expense of the romance – which felt like a reward in and of itself. I felt like Gypsy King was Devney Perry like I’ve never read her before. It’s the same sort of compelling storytelling I’ve come to expect, but…different. This is not your typical MC story. Though it’s gritty, and thrilling, and a fair bit suspenseful, it’s all executed from a different angle and the whole thing felt like some kind of wild ride: exciting, addicting, and a total rush. With the first book in the Tin Gypsy series, Ms. Perry has not only delivered a masterfully told story, she’s also begun weaving a complicated, multi-layered tapestry that we’re only just beginning to understand. This was only the tip of the iceberg and I suspect we’re on the verge of going a lot deeper, twistier, and intense. I Can. Not. Wait.. I am 100% on board for more of this ride and am on pins and needles waiting to see where things go from here.

The thing I love most about Devney Perry is her ability to write anything. She goes from down home romances- to an MC novel. Set in the beautiful town of Clifton Forge, Montana- Gypsy King takes us on a roller coaster of a ride. Bryce Ryan is a journalist who is hell bent on getting her story. She has moved back to her hometown and now owns the newspaper with her father. As wonderful as it is to report small time things- Bryce longs for the big story and she just might have found it in the former Tin Gypsy Motorcycle club. She is convinced they are responsible for the death of a woman in town. And she got more than she bargained for in the leader of the group, Kingston “Dash” Slater. He exudes charm and charisma- in only the way one of Devney’s heroes can, gruffly. This story shapes up to take over one of my favorite books from Devney – the Coppersmith Farmhouse, which was her very first book. And FYI, I am NOT an MC type of girl, I rarely read those- but because Devney is Devney- I HAD to read this, and I was thoroughly surprised by every twist and turn. Make no mistake, this is advertised as an MC book, but I would not discredit it as very much being a romance- with lots of thrills and mystery thrown in. So if you aren’t an MC type of person- give this one a go, I am telling you, you won’t be disappointed. i never am when it comes to Devney's writing, she has a gift.

Just WOW! How Devney comes up with these stories amazes me! She has this unique ability to make me get so frustrated with certain characters but then is able to completely turn it around to where I cannot get enough. Her stories always pull me in and leave a lingering feeling in my soul. I can't wait to see where she takes us with the next installment of this series. A must-read!
