An excellent read from a young up and coming author. For $0.99 this book is a steal. I can't wait for the next one. I hope there's a next one! The interactions between Fallen & Wraith are hilarious. If you enjoy books by Nalini Singh, Rachel Caine, Richelle Mead & Gena Showalter than you're going to enjoy this one. Besides, it's only $0.99!

Where is an extra star when you need it? Half Breed is a marvelous mix of mostly Urban Fantasy with a drop of Sci-Fi and Mystery and Cori Moore ‘s writing style reminds me of authors like Ilona Andrews, Diana Rowland, Richelle Mead, Karen Chance. Fallen is a strong, independent, witty and funny character, that during this book discovers who she is and why she is and acts the way she does with the help of Wraith, in the middle of a chase and pursuit of a magic relic, in the underground of Chuck E Cheese and parallel words. The book has all the ingredients I love: action, fights, jokes, suspense, teasing and interesting new things to learn. And it made me think every few pages: Why haven’t I discovered this book before? I absolutely love a book that catches my attention at the start and continues to hold me within its pages till the very end and makes me double check if there is another page, because I can’t believe it’s the end! P.S. The author said she is working on the next book at this moment, Yuppy!

I was extremely impressed with this book! We meet the main character, Fallen, while she is working, bounty hunting. In that first chapter, I was having a hard time getting into the book, as she seemed distant and cold, but quickly you learn that Fallen is a very complex character and are pulled into the story. I could not put it down! I finished the book wanting more and I cannot wait to see what this author does next!

Ok, so I found this book by accident but I have to say I'm happy I did and for only .99 cents! Very good read, LOVE Wraith and Fallen (which are cool names by the way) I also love Fallen's family and pack especially Sunny and Coal(the alpha). It had some very good surprises and I'm definitely hoping I'll see another book. PLEASE!! Other similar authors: Rachel Caine, Nalini Singh, Richelle Mead, Jennifer L. Armentrout, Patricia Briggs

Great start to the New Breed Series-- I really enjoyed this urban fantasy book. There's a really great mixture of the modern world and life as a human, mixed in with Fallen's wolf side as well. I'm a big fan of this genre, but its not often that the two worlds Intertwine as they do here. Fallen uses her talents as a bounty hunter, but her latest job has some unforeseen complications. The more she chases down the blade, the more secrets become unveiled. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and will definitely pick up the next installment.

This is a fantastic book and I’m hoping that Cori Moore will be continuing the series. I’ve searched online but cannot find anything. Does anyone know if Cori has a website?

I got pulled into this mystical world so fast. I instantly like the protagonist because she is a, take no crap from anyone type of gal.  As the book continued I was drawn to both guys that the story seems to "fall" for Fallen.  The book brings a fresh taste to the fantasy realm while leaving you wondering why you can't yet find this author everywhere.  I'm still yearning for the sequel, and believe me it's going to be on my nook the day it comes out.  I couldn't read this book fast enough but now I'm quite impatient.
