820 pages. I loved this book! Got it last night, just finished it. It grabs you in right away and holds on till the end. Fast moving. It barely lets go. I highly recommend this book, I am planning on checking this author out.

I really enjoyed this book. It was interesting and thought provoking. With technology and medicine combing to enhance human performance, replace defects and repair injuries with synthetic cells that reproduce, at what point are you no longer human? Or are you still human even if you are 100 % biomites? I highly recommend this book to everyone. This may be our future.

I think this series has great potential. But this prequel jumps around so much, it left me largely confused.

Fascinating premise, and good fo?low through I enjoyed these glimpses of the Half skin reality. Will read the whole series next. This short volume is more of a teaser than a book. But I did enjoy it!

Fascinating account of what might be... and the twist at the end was heartbreaking. Already purchased the sequel 'Clay'. This is the first book I have read of Tony's but it certainly won't be the last. Very enjoyable. I highly recommend it.

Fresh, danger makes the characters desperate. What does make us "human"?

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. I found this to be a realistic future story.  The author has a wonderful imagination. I am excited to see what happens in the sequel.
