I have read tons of R.L. Stine books and this is definately one of my favorites. You can't put this book down, it draws you in and the story just keeps on giving you twists and turns. Just when you think you have it figured out, something happens to make you think otherwise. Read this one!

This book was a pure thriller! It did not have one weak spot throughout the whole book!!!!! It was more slow-paced than the original, but was an overall better story! If you are looking for a scary, surprising, suspenseful book, try this one! It includes the main character getting a threatning letter, a maggot-infested, rotted-pumpkin, and, have you noticed how in most young adult thrillers, the characters come close to dying, but never really do? Well, not this one! Someone gets murdered! Enjoy!

it was a great book. it had a really shocking ending. this was the first book i read from r.l. stine because i thought his books were stupid because of the goosebumps books. after i read this book, i continued reading more books by him (no not goosebumps dammit).
