About the Author

Yasmine Hyde is the alter ego of Yvette Hines. Since I was sixteen and started reading romance, I found myself pulling out a tablet at the end of a book and writing an additional sex scene. Yes, even as a sixteen-year-old virgin I had naughty thoughts with pen and paper. Surprisingly, I never shocked my mother with the ‘questions’ I asked her to help fill out the story. She’d say, “It is how I know she’s not doing anything.” She was right, but that desire to write passionate interludes never left me. I filled my diary up with romantic sex scenes I would dream about. Don’t judge me. LOL. I didn’t start writing until I was around twenty-six. However, something that I noticed was when I thought of a story the first thing in my mind was the sex scene. Now, years later, Yasmine allows me and my muse SHE to step out of the box again in another direction. The things Yasmine will write would make my 16 year old self blush to a deep burgundy.

As a USA Today Bestseller I’m ready for the next road my writing will take me. So, naughty ones, take the journey with me... I dare you. If you enjoy Yvette Hines, give Yasmine a try.

The energy and tension between Holly and Clive caught my attention right from the start of the story. Holly is naïve, innocent, sweet, and wants to love and please Clive. She is an endearing character with so much good inside. Clive is a hard working foreman who does not feel worthy of Holly but has a protective streak when she is involved. He is normally tender and loving but has a tough and strict side when needed. Overall I highly recommend this enjoyable book. It is a little short but well written with plenty of love, sex, and spankings. I would love to see more from this author.

Holly is a sweet, innocent but passionate young woman and Clive an older, more experienced dominant man. They are strongly attracted to each other and it was fun to read how they get together and how much they have to learn about each other along the way.

I really enjoyed this short story and actually wished it was longer as I wanted to see/hear/feel how the marriage of Clive and Holly progressed. The story begins with Clive giving the very naïve Holly a spanking for being out alone in the fields after dark. Her reaction is a surprise to her, and the start of a more meaningful yearning for Clive. The progression through to the asking for her hand from her Preacher father and their marriage is fast paced and action loaded. The antagonist MJ is a carryover from the first book in this series, as are most all of the other characters. Handling Holly has all the bases covered, great story, super spankings, and exciting erotica. This book is so enjoyable I am now going to go back and read the first one, in what I hope will be a long series.

THINGS ALWAYS WORK OUT THE WAY THEY’RE SUPPOSED TO It was good to be back in Grover Town, and book two did not disappoint. Holly Morgan is the eldest daughter of Pastor Morgan. She is upset that her father has decided she needs to marry, but he is picky of whom he will allow as a husband. Clive Samuels is working as a foreman on the ranch of his friend Chance. He has feelings for Holly but knows how her father can be. When he comes upon Holly late at night, he decides to teach her a lesson of being out alone at night and spanks her. What happens when her father finds out they have kissed? They are politely informed they will be marrying on Saturday. The plot of the story as Clive teaches his virgin bride, Holly, the finer art of lovemaking and she is a willing pupil. She goes into marriage complete naïve of what happens between a man and a woman. He makes the mistake of assuming she can cook, but a trip over his knee helps with that lesson. Why is the jilted MJ still sniffing around the married Holly and stirring up trouble? I love the interaction of Holly and Clive, and together they are passionate, with steamy sex scenes. “You’ll learn I never jest about loving’, darlin’. I get it how I want it and give it like I say.”

A lot is crammed into this short story – meeting, passion, love, a villain – and loving discipline. The story, set in the west, has two attractive young people, Clive and Holly, as its main characters – and they quickly fall in love, marry, and work at establishing a home. My only complaint with the book was that it was a good story that could have been fleshed out some more – I liked the characters and would have liked to know more about them and read about more of their interaction.

A very HOT story here; pastor's daughter and alpha ranch hand! Things heat up almost immediately with a quick spanking and a little naughty play, (that shouldn't happen before marriage)! Well, things heat up more every time Holly and Clive meet up, and sure enough Papa Pastor insists they marry!! This story gets even hotter and it really tells a very sweet story. I haven't read the first book, but I certainly will now, hopefully there will be even more to come!!

This is the second book in Grover Town Discipline. Holly is friends with Gretchen and Clive is the foreman on Chance’s ranch. Holly in enamored of Clive, but she is the daughter of the town preacher and he plans to marry her off to MJ, who featured in the first story. You can read this book as a stand alone, but reading Guiding Gretchen would be helpful. Anyways, when Clive admits to kissing Holly, her father forces their marriage. They take some time to get to know each other, but there is a HEA. I give this 4 stars.
