This story was amazing. All I can say is, there will be a point when you just want a direct line to the author so you can ask her why she would put Rose through that. Power through that moment or moments. This book is worth it. This author is worth it.

Y'all ... this book is just so good. I honestly wasn't super into it until about a third into it. I didn't love the set up and it just wasn't hooking me, but when it got it me, I was in and couldn't stop reading it. Ok, for real now, I related to these characters so well. I don't know if it is the way the author crafted the story or if it was the set up of the book, but I was 100% invested in this book. You know I love books that I can see while I read... this is one of the best I've had so far at this special task. I literally loved it. I had all the feels and was so high and so low every time the story took a turn. I honestly didn't read the description of this book again before I started reading it, so I don't know what I was expecting outside of a love story and people who'd known each other a long time... let me tell you, I got WAY MORE than I expected. I feel like I keep saying the same thing over, but I really have no words to express my love and all the feelings I have for this story. I finished reading this two days ago, and I really feel like I still have a hangover from it. Let me think about how I can explain it... Let's try this. The way the book is presented is both current day and looks at the past. I didn't get it at first, I didn't see why I was being fed a little bit of history every so often rather than just starting there or having it all laid out at once. Now after finishing the book, I liked the little bit here and there when it was called for. I don't think I would have fallen in love with the story and the characters as much had I known all of their past story before everything in their present happened. I like getting it little by little when things happened in their present day lives. The characters... man oh holy man, the characters. I feel like I am a part of their lives. I feel like I know them. I felt what they felt, understood what they were going through, and had the same journey through this book. I honestly had all the feels in this story, and I think that is 100% because I was so invested in the characters and their journey. I have not read anything from this author before, but I can tell you now that I will for sure be checking out all her other books. I loved her writing. Obviously anyone who can craft characters that get me as good as these two did is absolutely going to become a must read for me. So I'll check out some more of her work and let you know if the must read title sticks! The pace of this book was great. I don't feel like it was slow or fast, just that it told the story in a way that was super comfortable. I didn't struggle to keep up or to understand. The writing style is great; she had me laughing, crying, you know basically living through these characters. It was great. I would LOVE to see this in movie form - oh my gosh it would just be amazing. The book was great, bottom line. I wholeheartedly recommend this to you all. I loved it.

“It wasn’t a choice. I had to f**k you, possess you, and make sure the whole world knew you were mine.” Harley & Rose…..Harley & Rose is my favorite book by this author to date. I mean, I never saw this story coming. It was so unlike what I thought it was going to be. I didn’t expect it to grab my heart and put tears in my eyes…. From the moment I laid eyes on the cover of this book, I fell in love. The cover just called to me. It said, “Amy, you need to read this book.” So, I checked out the synopsis and decided to give this book a try. And let me tell you…….Best. Decision. Ever. When I picked up this book, I thought for sure I was going to be reading a friends to lovers romance. And if you know me, then you know that I am a huge sucker for those. But, Harley & Rose was so much more than a friends to lovers romance; so much more. Their’s is a story about friendship and love. A story of missed opportunities and a love that lasts a lifetime. Harley and Rose’s story is not an easy one and at times, it is going to frustrate the hell out of you. The push and pull between these two is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. The chemistry is so undeniable. The connection that they share is one that just has you begging and screaming. You just know with everything that you have, that these two are destined for each other, if they could just get their timing right. Harley & Rose captured my heart and took it on one unforgettable journey. Their story is very well written and is one of those stories that will just consume you. You can’t help but get lost in their story, and before you know it, you will have devoured the entire book and will be left with tears in your eyes.

There should be a huge warning on this book for a list of reasons. That you are going to need lots of tissues, that your heart will not only melt, but break and you are going to love these two characters, even if you want to yell at them - "Not again!" I know for sure that I am going to have one enormous book hangover with this one. I have only just finished and my head is swimming with What If's........ but I know that my what if's can't happen. And it wouldn't be a great book if they did! The author had me laughing and crying and laughing and wishing and praying. It wasn't what I was expecting, but it was so much more, it was so well written. Even though it is an immense emotion ride of a book, you are going to want to read it. It starts in the present time, and has little flash backs throughout to give us a full rounded view on their time together. The epilogue was sweet and endearing and hopeful. You know it is a great book when you jump on line to chat with your book buddies the whole way through and having to debrief after. Don't miss out a this one.
