About the Author

Growing up, Cristina Sicard wondered why she lived in Canton, Ohio, away from her family in the Dominican Republic. In May 2018, she graduated from Ohio University's E.W. Scripps School of Journalism with a minor in Spanish and a Global Leadership Certificate. Two weeks after, she started her masters in Early Childhood Education at the University of Georgia. She wants to teach and eventually work in children's television. Now, Cristina will continue writing children's books and smiling.

From Alliance, Ohio, Katie Drakulich is a senior at Ohio University majoring in Restaurant, Hotel, and Tourism. At a Mid-American Restaurant Expo, she won an Alexa for her trivia mastery. She also loves the arts and drawing. Down the line, she desires to have her own restaurant and live out West in a tiny home surrounded by mountains. When she's not sketching, Katie is hiking or playing with her new puppy Rosalina Yodeña Drakulich.
