Harmony, the second book in the Lil Bit Country and a Lil Bit Rock & Roll series, was an instant hit for me. And let me just say, Ms. Turner was brilliant in combining these two unlikely characters--Summer and Sean. Summer, sister to Daisy (introduced in the first book) and also band mate in the group Sweet Southern Sass, is about as sweet and innocent as they come. She's got all the good qualities that every guy dreams of, especially bad-boy Sean Scott, member of Destiny Fades to Black. There's certainly truth to the old saying about opposites attracting. Sean, full of confidence and self-assurance, sets his goal for one person and one person only--Daisy. Despite Sean's bad reputation and the long line of women that want him (or have already had him) Daisy sets her sights on him and the two will stop at nothing to be together. The ride is certainly a wild, hot and sexy one. While their relationship may be complicated at times, the author has definitely turned it into a unique story. If you enjoy insanely hot set scenes between two characters willing to risk it all just to make it work, this is one story you're sure to enjoy. I loved that each chapter was divided--you knew exactly what Summer was thinking and what Sean was thinking. This, to me, added so much to the story and made it complete to hear from what was in each of their heads. There were lots of firsts for Summer and Sean, making this such a truly enjoyable read for me. Also, being from the South, I enjoyed reading about items and places that I was familiar with. Even though this is the second book in the series, it is written so that it can be read as a stand-a-lone. I'm looking forward to the other stories planned in this series and hopefully see more of Summer and Sean.
