When I first saw the movie, i fell inlove in with it. I then set out to buy the books. I read the 2nd book of when he was 12 years old and finished it 3 to 4 days. I then of course read the 3rd book considering I had bought all 3 books at one time and then, too, I finshed the 3rd book in 3 to 4 days and then I needed the 4th book and I finished it in 3 days. In book 2 and 3 I cried in the beginning because the 'Dursleys' the mean old family he stayed with were aweful. I loved it....in part 4...hes 14yrs old and Lord Voldemort is back but he escapes. I please Ms J K Rowling, I do hope that you come out with more sequals to an ending where harry gets to stay with his god father Sirius Black and that evil Lord Valdemort dies forever and never hurts Harrt again. Please come out with another book. Thank you. Yours truely Hermina close to the name Hermione

At first, when one of my friends told me to read the Harry Potter series, I laughed in his face. Me? Read a kids book? Not like me. But he eventually convinced me into it, and boy was I wrong. It's the best book there is!!!!!! ANd I don't consider it as a children's book anymore, I now think of it as a deep story which is understandable for children. I've read all 4 books and just bought the Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone Collector's Edition book. (By the way, the movie's great, but the book's better.)

I am 38 years old, and after my daughter's pressure, I read #1 of Harry Potter. I always thought the Enid Blyton books were incredible, and never really thought I would enjoy magical, make believe stories. I was totally wrong. Unique imagination and most enjoyable to read, making me laugh heartily many times.

I have read all four of the children's books about Harry Potter and the gang. I am in my mid fourties and found these books to touch the child hidden within my adult persona that growing up I had lost. Thanks for helping find the child in me again.

I'm 35 yrs old, when someone suggested I read Harry Potter books I laughed. I thought these books where just for kids, well after just finishing book IV. These books are so well written I often see my self at Hogwarts. These books kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish.

I am 13 years old and I love all the Harry Potter books that I've read this summer. I just started reading Harry Potter this summer and I've only read two so far. (but I'm getting the other two very soon) After I finished the first one I had to have another one! All my friends think I'm crazy for reading a kid book, then I let them read one and they love it too! Harry Potter is the only love in my life right now! I can't wait until the movie comes out! It comes out on my birthday, Nov. 16!

I am 33 years old and cannot wait for #5 to come out. I think we have all dreamed (as children) to be able to do magic. To be able to put a curse on the bully who picks on us, maybe turn him into a toad. The descrpitions are wonderful. The sheer delight that on your eleveth birthday you are told that you are a wizard. Every childs dream. I have read all four books, 'Quidditch Through The Ages' and 'Magical Beasts and Where To Find Them', have eaten 'Berty Botts Every Flavor Beans' and have a Harry Potter wall calendar in my office.

A friend recommended, J. K. Rowling's, Harry Potter to me and I haven't been able to put the book down. If you are asking youserlf why this book is so paraiseworthy...well...that's because it really is! Harry Potter is a captivating story of a young boy who discovers he's a wizard. The four books reveal his amazing adventures and mischiefs when he enters the Hogwarts school. Rowling captures the attention of her readers with unexpected occurences and the ending never lets you down. The characters are wonderfully and fully described where you have a great visual in your mind. The story is flawless from the characters to plot to setting. Not a single detail is over looked in Rowling's description, which inly makes the book more memorable.

J.K.Rowling has written an outstandingly, creative book. Though the critics called it a childrens book, I have to disagree. Although it does make you feel as though you were a child. Purely outstanding book.

I could not resist what all the talk was regarding this guy Harry Potter. Well, I soon found out that I could not put this book down. After I finished this book I ran out and purchase the other three books. NOW I can't wait for the 5th book to come out to see what Harry and his friends are going to get into this time!!!! It just shows, it does not matter how old you are, you will truly fall in love with Harry Potter and his friends. You have to read these books you will indeed get hooked. I am waiting anxiously for the 5th book to come out.

Far too often, a book or a movie comes out where a large majority of people agree upon its goodness, quickly turning into a fad. When I finally read the book or see the movie, I am usually disappointed and expected more. I assumed that the Harry Potter books was just another disappointing fad...until I borrowed the first book from my friend. I could not put it down! Halfway through the first book, I immediately bought all four books. I have never read such books that were so suspenceful, imaginative, and hilarious as Harry Potter. J.K Rowling is definitely blessed with a creative mind!!
