Mr. Niemeyer has written a truly personal and cathartic book concerning family and the responsibility each member bears. It was powerful!!!!!!

Reading 'Harvesting Spiritual Fruit' is a vibrant and uplifting experience. Inspirationally written, it blends spiritual wisdom with life experience in an easy to read style. As one reads, it inspires the reader to look at themselves as they are and how they can enrich their life and those around them. In essence, it is motivational; leading to greater fulfillment and joy in life. It is spiritual and biblical, but in a 'real world' manner; rather than pithy sermonizing. It is a book to be read, internalized, and reviewed periodically to keep a person 'on track'. It is uplifting in it's content and inspires hope and a positive belief in that which it presents. It is a book from which every reader will benefit if they put the message into practice. I would give it SIX STARS if I could! --

This book was very easy to read. It was a great book! I really enjoyed how Mr. Niemeyer provided practical advice in how you can live by God's word. I highly recommend this short book to anyone interested in applying a popular Scripture passage to your everyday life.

This book will really speak to you whether a you are a husband, wife, parent, son or daughter. I don't know of anyone who could not gain personal strength and direction from reading and incorporating the topics which this book addresses! If we could all only strive to harvest all of the fruit of the Spirit - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control - in our daily lives, oh what a world this would be! This book will challenge you and make you stop and consider many of life's lessons. This book is based squarely on scripture but the author uses God's word in a way that applies to 'real' life.

Todays society often emphasizes excess, materialism, anger and hatred. It can all too often lead us down a path away from God's word and leave a void in our lives. In 'Harvesting Spiritual Fruit', Jon Niemeyer provides the fruit to fill that void. This book captures the spirit of true happiness. A great 'read' for anyone seeking to focus on true happiness and what truly is important in one's life!

This book, although brief, directs us to encounter life with a very real sense of peace.

Max Lucado started somewhere, and this new young Christian author has great potential. This book works well for either seasoned Christians needing a boost or seekers who are sorting through the true meaning of their walk with the Lord. This book manages to speak to both camps on weighty subjects without being overly preachy. It makes a great gift book (small size) and is great for men (they might actually read a short Christian living book!!).

This book really opened my eyes in alot of ways. I have been going to church since I was a kid and considered myself a Christian, but I really never focused on God's true love for me and how, after turning oneself over to Christ in a humble way, that God's love through the Holy Spirit really can enable you to harvest these fruits. I also never really focused on this passage of Galatians before, but what else do you need for a fulfilling life other than love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness and self-control? Although the scripture references and research really hit home (some surprised me actually) I liked the author's use of examples, particularly the current events (Sept. 11) and the personal stories. It is nice to see someone brave enough to wear their own failings on their sleeve. It makes the writing just that much more powerful. The book does, however, speak to men more than women (but women will enjoy the author's candor about the failures of men!). I hope to read more from this author soon!

This is truly one of those books that should fit into a purse! It's the most positive manual for living that I have seen in while.
