It's just a game...right?

Olivia Hampton never thought she'd run into the guy of her dreams at a Gaming Convention, but when Harvey MacLaughlin introduces himself a woman can't help but notice. He's six and a half feet of tall-dark-and-yummy. Plus, he plays games too. But, how do you tell the man of your dreams you decimate him at Soldier's Call, the most popular FPS game of the year, almost every night?

Harvey MacLaughlin was interested in Olivia the second she stepped on the plane. When he sees her again in the convention hotel, introducing himself becomes priority number one. He may have started out just looking for company, but what he finds in the beautiful Olivia Hampton may be more than he ever dreamed.

Will a secret between them ruin their budding relationship? Or will Harvey take another path and turn the game on her?

'I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review' Harvey works with his brothers restoring buildings after disasters. In his downtime one of his favorite things to do is playing games. In one game in particular he has a Nemesis. One person that he cannot take down. Harbringer12. Harvey was invited to a gaming convention and he knows that Harbringer12 would have been also. He is hoping to bring him down then. While there he meets Olivia. She is beautiful and when he finds out that she is there for the convention also he can't believe it. He knows right away that she is the perfect woman for him. Liv is the traffic reporter for her local News station and to unwind she likes to play video games. She is not like the other gamers. She doesn't talk. She just listens and takes everyone out. She was excited to be invited to the gaming convention. She just hopes she can stay anonymous. While there she meets Harvey, she is wary about getting involved with anyone after a bad experience with a past boyfriend. But there is something about Harvey that she can't resist. But what will he do when he finds out that she is Harbringer12? My opinion: I LOVE all of Krystal's books and this one is no different. There is definitely a different spin on this book with it being about gamers. No matter what Krystal writes about she captures the very essence of who she is writing about and you just can't put her books down. I know I can't. I think that Harvey is one of my favorites out of this series so far. Harvey was definitely the perfect guy for Liv. He knew exactly what to do to get her over her insecurities and he is very swoon worthy. I highly recommend reading. Can be read as a stand alone. 'Read and Reviewed by LSK Sweetheart Reviews'

This is the 3rd book in the MacLaughlin series and it's Harvey MacLaughlin's story. Harvey is taking a short vacation and going to L.A. for a Gamers Convention. He travels a lot for his family's company and has no steady girl. He has no problems getting dates but just hasn't found the right girl that likes the same things he does. He sees Liv (Olivia) Hampton on the plane and notices her. He meets up with her at the hotel where he is staying and she is there for the gaming too. She's also a traffic reporter and he knows of her. They are attracted to each other but little does Harvey know she's the top gamer everyone is going to compete with. Liv is shy and inexperienced with sexual relationships due to a cad who took her virginity and said she's no good at it and has avoided sexual encounters since. The games are on-who will win the Soldiers Call game and will Harvey win Liv's heart? Another short and great romantic story and no cliffhangers in this one too. Loved this one too as I did the other two. Now I'm looking forward to Lizzy's (the only sister) story! Just love this family!!

Third in the series and what can I say except they keep getting better, and although they are a series they  could be standalones and you don't have to read them in order. This time up is Harvey, although grownup he still loves playing video games but the problem is non of his ex's have really appreciated his devotion to gaming, but as with all the MacLaughlin men he is generous to a fault and a true Southern Gentleman. I'm only sad that the last one has been snapped up because I really do love these guys. Olivia has been hurt and doesn't trust anymore, but she is a great gamer, though that is not what attracts Harvey at first it certainly adds to her appeal. Once again a lovely character that instead of getting jealous of, I want as a friend. Another short but steamy story that is complete in itself. I received a free copy for an honest review

Yet another wonderful MacLaughlin series book, again wished it could have been a full length novel. This one is Harvey's story and he meets the love of his life Olivia at a gaming convention were he discovers she is the infamous player on the game they play. Harvey and Liv were both wonderful and they are great together.

Great story. This third installment is a quick but intense read. Harvey meets the woman of his dreams and he is smart enough to recognize it.  Olivia is a successful business woman in the public eye.  Can she trust that Harvey likes the real her?

This was a hot, fun short story that once again takes you back to the MacLaughlin family. It's the 3rd one in the series and is centered on Harvey and Olivia. Harvey and Olivia meet at a Gaming Convention demonstration where they have both been invited to compete playing a new version of Soldier's Call. They meet the night before the competition and immediately fall for each other. Harvey has no idea that Olivia is the top player in the game, but it is fun to see his reaction when he finds out. This story was romantic, but it was also fun to read because of the gaming aspect. It was also neat that Olivia enjoyed gaming-you don't find that often with women. *I was given an ARC of Harvey for an honest review.

How often can a grown man act like a twenty something college kid playing video games all weekend long? After working long days at the family company, a hard core came of Soldier’s Call is always the best distraction and enables him to unwind from the day of dealing with disasters that is until Harbringer12 joins the games. That is one gamer that Harvey would love to bring down a peg or two and the 3 day convention that he is participating in will give him the chance to do so. Olivia or Liv better known to her friends is a fiend when it comes to gaming. Liv is in the running for a promotion at her TV Station, and does everything that she can think about, to stay under the radar of her boss and co-workers. She does not care for the bar scene as her co-workers do so daily she takes her aggressions out as a kicking butt, take names later kind of gal as the top player of Soldier’s Call. No one knows the identity of the feared leader on the board, but all are gunning to take Harbringer12 out of the top spot.. Miles away from their home town, Olivia and Harvey meet, and a strong mental and physical attraction is found from the beginning. Will this be the happy ever after that Harvey has been searching for, and will Olivia allow another gamer into her life, one that she would gladly fight over the game controller with. Harvey is book three in the MacLaughlin Family series and I can say I was not disappointed at all with this novella. Krystal Shannan does not disappoint with her stories..

Love at a Gaming Convention... What a great setting for a romance novella. I really enjoyed this quick read... Olivia is an easily likable heroine who is not only smart but also pretty darn good at gaming, and hoping to get a job promotion. Harvey meshes well with Olivia, is supportive and hot too boot...they are a gaming couple made in heaven.   The story is full and isn't lacking even though it is a quick read. This is the third book in the MacLaughlin series and I have to say that Krystal Shannan did it again with her easy writing style and complete plot-line which makes for an enjoyable read.  * I received an ARC of this book in return for my honest review.

Harvey is the 3rd book in the MacLaughlin Family series and it did not disappoint. Harvey is such a sweet, sexy, caring man who is looking for the same happiness his brothers have found. Olivia is a beautiful, smart, cautious gamer who has had her heart broken. When these two collide at a huge gaming convention will Harvey find his true love? Will Olivia let him play his way into her heart? This was a great quick read and I loved it. The gaming background in this book made it stand out because it was not your typical read. This is a must read series. I highly recommend it.

booklovinjunkie(dot)blogspot(dot) com. Each book , each family member, and each love gets better and better. Krystal done it again , she is one of the best and I can't get enough of her books. Harvey , Harvey , Harvey... if all gamers looked , and acted like you I would so get into playing well about anything. Liv, is so damn cool and freaking rocks to know she takes down Harvey. But what will Harvey do when he finds out she is his nemesis? Trust me you will want to get this book and find out the oh so wonderful ways they play the game.

Harvey the third book in the MACLAUGLIN family series what can I say this author has done it again. She has brought this character to live. Harvey comes from a big family that are very close Now since his brothers have their love interest and his sister is on a roll with her own agenda he finds himself on his own. He see a gaming convention as a distraction and fun, so off he goes. He meets a woman Olivia at the convention and right away he is getting vibes. She on the other hand is kind of put off not because she also is feeling electric sparks. Well nature takes it course and wow is all I can say. So what could be better then two people that have the same interest becoming soul mates ??? This is where I can not tell more or I would give to much away As all of her books not just the Mac Laughlin series the author is genius at bringing it all together . This is a shorter story but so worth it I can not wait to see what is in store for other siblings I give this book a 5 star and totally recommend
