Missing something for me. I needed more of the plot, what was all the mystery with her family and the Master. What's going on with trial and woman in hiding? I know series continues but I needed more interaction with other characters and plot to care. I know they can screw like a carpenter but can you give us more storyline?

I almost stopped reading because I couldn't stand how Cole and Hailey treated each other. They were awful. But about halfway through they both abruptly changed and it ended up being a decent story.

It was way too short and I want mooooorreee!! An Intriguing good story. Bad boy wants the forbidden good girl which happens to be his client’s daughter. We don’t know how bad Cole really is, he just tells her all the time that he’s a bad guy. It’s not like he’s a criminal, is he?! Well, we’ll know for sure in the next book – hopefully. =) What happened to Cole anyway – at the end?! I am so curious! I have to know!!!! The ending of this book leaves everything in the open. Huge Cliffhanger.

Based on the description and cover, I thought this was going to be gritty but average read. Wrong! The book drew out every emotion possible from anger and dislike to sadness and joy. Don't miss this one! Looking forward to more from this group

Quick, hot and dirty read. I found both lead charters likeable. The initial tension between them might have been the hottest parts of the book. The sex and romance was fairly balanced. I thought some plot points were ambiguous and hard to decipher. I also found some of the female lead traits/interests vague and hard to reconcile. For example, she seems to be kind of self conscious but uses a stripper pole like she dances for a living. It just didn't seem like it was a likely scenario. This is just my opinion. Overall, I loved the book. Cole was a great hero, super sexy and he seemed to genuinely care for Haley, he's a real panty dropper.

This novel is SMEXY with a capital SMEXY! The characters prowl around each other snarling and loathing and just when they are at each other's throats mouths crash and hands grope and clothes start disappearing - it's raw, it's heated, and it's ... angry. But when the chips are down, even when suspicious is seeping through fragile cracks, a light and open hearts risk it all to save the shadowy and dark heart causing things to get complicated in the Horus Group. "Hate F*@K: The Complete Story" was originally a three book serial but this is the entire set in one book with two additional scenes. To some there may seem to be pieces missing from the puzzle but I trust that Ainsley Booth has left things open to be resolved bit by bit in the subsequent installment of The Horus Group series. The characters of Hailey and Cole - especially Cole - undergo tremendous growth. With Cole it is a matter of finding a part of himself that he never got to experience and because of Hailey's nature he's able, and desires, to let that part of himself out. Hailey, despite her somewhat easy going manner, despises the lifestyle, and spotlight, that her family has pushed her into and she attempts to distance herself from it as much as possible. In that way she's a runner, a hider, but because of Cole and his strength and cold "do what I have to do" nature she finds her courage. This novel has the romance, the suspense and thrill, as well as some no holds barred sex. In addition the heroine is refreshingly a more than healthy sized woman who although at first is apprehensive being with a gorgeous ex-Navy Seal but he finds her so sexy and desirable he cannot keep his hands off of her. I say HUZZAH!!! "Hate F*@K: The Complete Story" is I believe still a cliffhanger though not for Cole and Hailey's romantic story. The "Hate" part of the title is very complex, to me comes from the anger that the main characters not only feel for themselves for being attracted to the other but also that the other person is making themselves hard to resist. There is also "Hate" for their families - Hailey's for being so messed up and Cole's for his biological parents abandoning him and his adopted ones for being disappointed in him (whether that is his perception or reality I'm not sure). However, I think the enormous personality shift that Cole undergoes is due to, in part, the imposed separation that he must have from Hailey at the order of Jason. But it's during this time he realizes that what he feels for Hailey is more than lust - he can't say it's love but it's something he knows that she is something he can't do without. It's in the middle of book two that Cole's emotional growth starts and moves fast. It moves at an even faster pace during book three after the most traumatic events involving Hailey occur. Hailey's go to response is doubt, resentment, and anger but underlying it all is hope and goodness. She truly is something they don't expect, and in book three she grows into a strong fighter willing to do anything to survive - including things she never thought she'd ever consider. The secondary characters are plentiful and although not completely fleshed out they are intriguing enough for me to want to see what happens to them next. This was a great story! I loved all the suspence and angst. It really had a great storyline and not only were the main characters great, so were the side characters. I recommend this book!
