The Complete Serial! Also includes two exclusive bonus epilogues!

Warning: This is just the start. This doesn't end well. And it's going to get much worse before it ever gets better.

I push her buttons. I want to push them in the good way. Dirty, up-against-the-wall, my-hand-in-her-pants kind of way.
But that’s not possible, because I’m dark and she’s light, and we both know it.
So I push her buttons in the bad way, making her hate me.

If a genie granted me three wishes, I’d ask for Cole Parker to never look at me again, that I’d forget the dark promise in his eyes, and that just once, before he vanished from my life completely, that he’d push me up against a wall and make me scream.
Then I’d go wash my mouth out with soap.

This story was originally published in a three-part serial. Those are included, as well as a bonus postscript section at the back with two additional scenes.

This is the complete story of Cole Parker and Hailey Dashford Reid.

This series continues with Booty Call and Dirty Love, also standalone romances about The Horus Group!

Missing something for me. I needed more of the plot, what was all the mystery with her family and the Master. What's going on with trial and woman in hiding? I know series continues but I needed more interaction with other characters and plot to care. I know they can screw like a carpenter but can you give us more storyline?

It was way too short and I want mooooorreee!! An Intriguing good story. Bad boy wants the forbidden good girl which happens to be his client’s daughter. We don’t know how bad Cole really is, he just tells her all the time that he’s a bad guy. It’s not like he’s a criminal, is he?! Well, we’ll know for sure in the next book – hopefully. =) What happened to Cole anyway – at the end?! I am so curious! I have to know!!!! The ending of this book leaves everything in the open. Huge Cliffhanger.

Based on the description and cover, I thought this was going to be gritty but average read. Wrong! The book drew out every emotion possible from anger and dislike to sadness and joy. Don't miss this one! Looking forward to more from this group

Quick, hot and dirty read. I found both lead charters likeable. The initial tension between them might have been the hottest parts of the book. The sex and romance was fairly balanced. I thought some plot points were ambiguous and hard to decipher. I also found some of the female lead traits/interests vague and hard to reconcile. For example, she seems to be kind of self conscious but uses a stripper pole like she dances for a living. It just didn't seem like it was a likely scenario. This is just my opinion. Overall, I loved the book. Cole was a great hero, super sexy and he seemed to genuinely care for Haley, he's a real panty dropper.

This novel is SMEXY with a capital SMEXY! The characters prowl around each other snarling and loathing and just when they are at each other's throats mouths crash and hands grope and clothes start disappearing - it's raw, it's heated, and it's ... angry. But when the chips are down, even when suspicious is seeping through fragile cracks, a light and open hearts risk it all to save the shadowy and dark heart causing things to get complicated in the Horus Group. "Hate F*@K: The Complete Story" was originally a three book serial but this is the entire set in one book with two additional scenes. To some there may seem to be pieces missing from the puzzle but I trust that Ainsley Booth has left things open to be resolved bit by bit in the subsequent installment of The Horus Group series. The characters of Hailey and Cole - especially Cole - undergo tremendous growth. With Cole it is a matter of finding a part of himself that he never got to experience and because of Hailey's nature he's able, and desires, to let that part of himself out. Hailey, despite her somewhat easy going manner, despises the lifestyle, and spotlight, that her family has pushed her into and she attempts to distance herself from it as much as possible. In that way she's a runner, a hider, but because of Cole and his strength and cold "do what I have to do" nature she finds her courage. This novel has the romance, the suspense and thrill, as well as some no holds barred sex. In addition the heroine is refreshingly a more than healthy sized woman who although at first is apprehensive being with a gorgeous ex-Navy Seal but he finds her so sexy and desirable he cannot keep his hands off of her. I say HUZZAH!!! "Hate F*@K: The Complete Story" is I believe still a cliffhanger though not for Cole and Hailey's romantic story. The "Hate" part of the title is very complex, to me comes from the anger that the main characters not only feel for themselves for being attracted to the other but also that the other person is making themselves hard to resist. There is also "Hate" for their families - Hailey's for being so messed up and Cole's for his biological parents abandoning him and his adopted ones for being disappointed in him (whether that is his perception or reality I'm not sure). However, I think the enormous personality shift that Cole undergoes is due to, in part, the imposed separation that he must have from Hailey at the order of Jason. But it's during this time he realizes that what he feels for Hailey is more than lust - he can't say it's love but it's something he knows that she is something he can't do without. It's in the middle of book two that Cole's emotional growth starts and moves fast. It moves at an even faster pace during book three after the most traumatic events involving Hailey occur. Hailey's go to response is doubt, resentment, and anger but underlying it all is hope and goodness. She truly is something they don't expect, and in book three she grows into a strong fighter willing to do anything to survive - including things she never thought she'd ever consider. The secondary characters are plentiful and although not completely fleshed out they are intriguing enough for me to want to see what happens to them next. Steamy Hot!!! I love Cole as a man that saw a woman he loved past society's views Hailey rocks! I could've ripped her family though I can't wait for Jason's story. Please write a complete book. Authors risk losing readers in an attempt to make more money by splitting the books in three parts. Just write the whole book and put it out at once.

In this scorching story, originally a 3 part serial now released as one full novel, we are introduced to Hailey and Cole and their love/hate relationship. Told in first person point of view alternating between them, we learn that Cole works for a public relations/security agency that has been hired to provide protection for Hailey's wealthy society family, prone to scandal (though she herself has managed to stay out of the limelight). Hailey resents Cole's necessary intrusion into her life, the more so because they share a sexual chemistry that lights her up even though she hates that he's part of her life. It's a no win situation for both of them so giving into their baser feelings and getting them out of the way seems like the best option if they're going to be stuck with each other anyway. I'm a big fan of the forbidden love, enemies to lovers type tropes so I expected a lot from this story and I was thrilled with how it turned out! Cole is a good boy hiding in a bad boy's skin, and this internal conflict made him a very engaging and dynamic hero. He wants Hailey but he knows he shouldn't have her. Hailey too was a fun character, thumbing her nose at society's expectations of her (and at Cole in the process for having to be her security shadow). Together they are like oil and water, clashing until they find just the right thing to meld them together - sex. The scenes between them are HOT! Hailey's family and Cole's work associates make up the secondary characters in the story, driving the plot and the motivations for their actions. As the story progresses, the sex becomes more meaningful as their feelings for each other deepen. There's a secondary suspense subplot, one that leads in a dark and dangerous direction. I really like how Hailey's character developed over the course of the story , in particular her realization that she is a strong woman and her willingness to stand up for herself and do what needs to be done. The other team members of the Horus group have some good setups happening for future stories and I'll definitely be looking out for those. Overall, this was a super sexy and riveting read, with some action and suspense to counter the romance and make the whole story very entertaining. 4.5 stars.

I loved the turns that it made and was hooked from part one so much that by the time I got to part three I just couldn't put it down, and the extra endings she added to the complete book made me want to do a happy dance! I love the men of the Horus Group and I absolutely CANNOT wait for Jason's story! Ainsley Booth has done an amazing job on this book, and definitely recommend it to everyone who loves a little danger in their love story.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. If you saw this book when it came out as a serial, and passed it up because of cliffhangers, here’s your chance to get it as complete book with bonus scenes at the end. These bonus scenes add so much to the story that even if you read the individual episodes you might want to buy this set just for them. Cole and Hailey begin with kind of a love/hate relationship. Cole works for her father and Hailey hates that his company helps to cover up bad things that rich people do. Cole has wanted Hailey from the first moment he saw her but he knows he’s not good enough for her. Even so, he can’t seem to stay away from her and she can’t resist him. The sexy time between them is HOT! Their relationship begins to deepen but Hailey still doesn’t completely trust Cole and hates that he has to keep so much hidden from her. There are some fantastic twists in this story – things about her family that I never saw coming. Ainsley Booth does a nice job of setting things up for additional stories about the other members of the Horus group and I look forward to reading all of them!
