It started with unspoken animosity. The bitter bite of jealousy. And now its full blown hate.
It was during my first football game that I first felt the first chill of hate. I looked it right in the eyes and felt its sticky tentacles reach out for me. I'd never experienced something so cold and empty before.
The effect of that look lingered, like an unspoken promise, long after it was gone.
Becoming a couple - becoming the other half of a campus celebrity wasn't easy. I let down walls guarding my heart and he looked past my glasses and accident prone tendencies. Romeo and I are an unlikely match, a #nerd and a jock. But we made it.
And we're happy.
Zach doesn't want us to be happy. He wants Romeo to pay for getting him kicked out of Omega and for the night he spent in jail. He's going to use anything and everything he can to get his revenge. Including me.
As the weather on campus grows cold and the days become dark, revenge becomes the center of someone's life and the happiness Romeo and I worked so hard for is threatened.
I can't help but worry that our love is going to be overshadowed by hate.

It turned out that I liked this sequel even better than the first one! The first one ended on a pretty steady, could be over type of ending. This book however, wow, that cliffhanger! I like that the characters are realistic/reasonable enough to realize that the other one would not cheat on them, so that even when the villain Zach is back, and trying to start stuff, Romeo never once believes that Rimmel was trying to get with him. And as I mentioned above, Romeo's best friend, Brayden, he is one of my favorite characters! The way that he's adopted Rimmel as a little sister is so sweet, and comical! This story had some really intense moments though. There was real life-threatening danger, and something happened to Rimmel that made her whole college career come into danger when she didn't have the money to make up for the scholarships that might be taken away. We learn more about her past, and get glimpses into it with her fall into the pool, as well as when Romeo's mother looks into it. Then there is definitely foreshadowing of the issue for Rimmel, but it didn't turn out to be what I'd expected exactly, or what I'd expected to happen. I will have to get ahold of the third book on audio soon so that I can find out what will happen after this ending. My question of just why Zach hates Romeo so much still wasn't answered, other than to maybe know that he is just psychotic!

“#LateNightMusings: No one dies a virgin, life screws us all.” The second installment of the Hashtag series was just as good, if not better, than the previous one. I love when there is no unnecessary drama. And by unnecessary, I mean when the authors decides to create some drama by making our two main characters break up with each other. Thankfully, Romeo and Rimmel and just as in love as ever. This book got slightly darker. I wouldn't say it is a dark book, it's just much more serious than the first one. Zach is making it his mission to ruin Rimmel's and Romeo's life. He starts targeting them both. You can tell he harbors a lot of hatred for Romeo, but we don't really know why that is. I had to figure out why he kept going after them. I really enjoyed this book. And again, I will definitely be reading the next installment to the series! I read and write book reviews regularly. Rimmel Hudson and Roman Anderson are the most popular kids at school.  The college is full of kids who are shocked as they come back from Winter Break, to find "Romeo" and Rimmel are still together.  She hates all the attention, but she knows she has to fit in his life somehow and get used to it. This is a continuation from the first book, #nerd in the hashtag series. Rimmel is bothered, stalked and attacked in this book by Romeo's enemy number one, Zach.  He is angry for being arrested and dethroned at the fraternity - and wants to get even.  Because Romeo is happy with Rimmel, he considers her the weak link by which to take Romeo down. Romeo is also upset that Rimmel does not want to tell him a lot of what happens with Zach.  She knows it is meant to upset him.  She wants him to stay alert, focused, and win the football game.  She goes around him and protects him even if he does not want it. Rimmel is not sure that they still have trust, since Romeo is making decisions without her.  She is trying not to lose the best thing ever to happen to her, but there is so much going on.  Romeo is in all directions with school, Zach, football, and her.  Rimmel just wants to help a little and come out a couple still on the other side. Such an amazingly well written story.  I give kudos to the author for such a great book!  I felt all the emotions with this one and cannot wait to read the next installment of the series.

#HATER a is fly by the seat of your pants continuation of #NERD. You jump right in almost where #NERD  left off and wrapped right back in to Rimmel and Romeo's dramatic life. Zach is as unlikeable as he was  in #NERD and progressively gets worse through this story.  "Haters gonna hate." And that he does and makes you hate him.  Braeden is awesome and supportive and won me over even more than he did in #NERD.  Ivy, Rimmel's roommate, I love her but at times she aggravates me.  She does show she's a true friend in the long run.

I loved #Nerd, so I was ready to dig right into #Hater, and let me tell you that I was not disappointed. Romeo and Rimmel are together now, as it should be. But you had to know that it was going to be a struggle. A very unlikely pair that no one expects to work actually does, and they are happy together. And while many are skeptical, one is downright angry. Zach feels wronged by Romeo, so he’s going to use whatever he can to get his revenge…and that includes Rimmel. Can Romeo and Rimmel make it through? I have to admit that what I liked most about this book, and actually about a lot of Cambria’s books, is that the drama is exterior. It’s not manufactured drama between the main characters, but drama from an external source. The H/h are a solid couple, and that shows throughout the book. The problem is Zach and his focus on seeking revenge against Romeo. And let’s face it, it’s easy to really dislike Zach and rally around that! He is such a sleaze, and Rimmel and Romeo are likeable on their own and together. I thought the writing and the plot were great. This is an easy to follow and engrossing story that will suck you in. The characters really mature from the first book and the relationship between Rimmel and Romeo builds even more. This series is probably my favorite of the author’s so far. 5 stars. What is it with this series?  I read book one in a couple of hours and I read this book in a little over 90 minutes...and it was SO GOOD!  Not only did I get more Romeo and Rimmel, but their story progressed rapidly.  I'm so glad the time between this book and the next #Player is only a couple of months.  I'm ever luckier because my wait between the books is only a couple of weeks.  (I waited to read it.) I think my love for Rimmel and Romeo, both together and as individuals, equals the measure of animosity I have for Zach.  I still have no idea why he hates Romeo so much.  I also can not begin to fathom what it is he has against him that has him targeting Rimmel, and in turn Romeo.  The last half of the book, my heart was in my throat, and my pulse was all over the place.  The story took a turn I wasn't expecting and end in a way I didn't expect either. This book ended on a sort of cliffhanger.  I immediately went to purchase the next book, but realized it wouldn't be available for almost two weeks.  The wait is agonizing, but I'll make it. I read this book in one sitting.  Once again I started reading it late and finished it in the early hours of the morning, but it was so worth it.  I have to give Cambria Hebert props for creating such a wonderful cast of characters and story.  This is only book 2/5 and I can't wait to see what happens next and what further hurdles Romeo and Rimmel will have to face to find lasting peace and happiness.

Cambria, you did it again. #Hater -as hard as it might be to believe for many, myself included- might have been even better than #Nerd. The AlphaBuzz Feed continues to be the most entertaining thing ever. This book was emotional, intense, and a whole lot of fun. The only bad part about #Hater is that it will definately leave you with nearly-unattainable #RelationshipGoals.

5 star The story has laughs, pain, jealously, revenge, and heartbreak. I was pulled right into this story and kept turning the pages until the very last one. This the second part of Rimmel and Romeo’s story. Rimmel and Romeo are connecting and building a relationship. She has met his family and has spent time with his mother. But from the very first time Rimmel met Zach she could feel the hate he throws at her. The more Romeo and Zach have contact the more Zach cones out as a loser and hater. But when is hurts Rimmel everyone know he has gone too far. What happens when just hurting her is not enough how far will Zach go to take Romeo down? I loved these characters and also the side characters (while all but Romeo’s mother). There are some tear filled moments and some anger filled moments in this story. But all in all I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was an awesome read. I highly recommend this book, this series and really anything this author writes.

#OMGdidthatreallyjusthappen There are so many things I enjoyed about this book that it's hard to decide where to start, what to leave out, & #HotDamn I just love it! I rarely speak of book hangovers as I normally jump from one book to the next, but this book truly qualified as it took me a bit to get my emotions back in check. There is just so much going on taking us from sweet intimate moments to suspenseful crazy stalker moments to #OMGdidthatreallyjusthappen moments! I will admit that I went into this book without reading #Nerd first, & I am still totally in love with the "freaks" that are Nerd Girl & Romeo! Their personalities, their jokes, & their choices sold me while their fears, their honesty, & their actions won my heart! One of very favorite things has to be the Alpha Buzzfeed hashtag intros to each chapter! Some had me laughing so hard & others had me wanting to hunt down the #BuzzBoss. Now I need to know #WhoTheHellsThisBuzzBoss!?! To sum it up ... #HashtagSeriesRocks & if you are unsure who your next book boyfriend shall be I vote for #TeamRomeo! Now PLEASE give us #Player & #Selfie ASAP!

Wow!!!! That about sums this book up for me I started reading and couldn't put it down. #Hater is the perfect sequel! I fell even more in love with Romeo and Rimmel in the second book it was nice to see them grow as a couple even with everything they had to face in this book and you can tell they love each other in every decision they make regarding the other.  I also think I may love Braeden as much as I do Romeo after #Hater!!  At the end of  this book Rimmel and Romeo's family, friends, and enemies didn't disappoint either wow I love a few, and really wish one in particular would suffer a horrible fate, and one who I hope can eventually redeem themselves in the last book!  Either way this is a great book with amazing characters and I can't wait for the sequel to come and see what is in store next for Rimmel and Romeo!!
