Author reports the facts in the feud and way of life in the area at that time. Little hard to follow all the people - I did find myself going back and re-reading sections to recall a person's relations later on in the book - but that is what makes this feud so interesting. There were so many overlaps and people with agendas. Fascinating report on the feud.

Really great facts and pictures. I read this after watching the mini series and they seemed to go hand in hand, although the book goes into greater detail.

It was very interesteing considering it was based on true history right here in our own country. It makes me wonder what the relations that are living now think about the history of their families. If only things were as less complicted now in our fueds today as they were then. Yes, there was a lot of bloodshed, but it didn't always involve a whole nation to suffer by it.
