What do unique world building, a fascinating mythos and a story I can sink my teeth into have in common? Apparently Rebecca Royce. I had originally came across this author when I was looking for a new reverse harem series to read and was delighted to find out she wasn’t a one trick pony. She writes across a broad spectrum of genres. And I decided I wanted to first delve into her paranormal stuff as this is and will ever be my first love of reading. And oh my goodness, I was hooked from the very first page. Her heroine is a thirty-something mom who used to do PTAs, bake sales, etc. She’s completely relatable in every sense except for one—the whole seeing ghost thing. This went far beyond a paranormal romance for me. Now there are romantic elements—two guys are vying for her attention. You have her ex-husband, Levi, who she still has feelings for. Their split wasn’t a pretty or easy one. Then you have Malcom, her broker, who she has a strong, immediate attraction to once she first meets him. There are so many twists in this story that my head was spinning. I was on the edge of my seat; I couldn’t put my book down. I was excited, enthralled. I’m grinning while writing this because I am so happy I took a chance on a new to me author. I really don’t want to give too much away because this is a book that you need to go into with fresh eyes and mind. I applaud Royce for her ingenious writing. If you are a fan of paranormal, one-click this one today.

I love Kendall. She's a strong, divorced mom of three with just a small problem. She can see ghosts. After denying her abilities for years, the sudden thrust back into the supernatural world is proving to be difficult. Especially with all the secrets that people are keeping from her. Her ex husband starts off as not very likeable but he does grow on me some by the end. Malcom is your sexy bad boy and he plays the part very well. I like how this series is headed but I'm a little disappointed on the romantic side. What I really really wanted to happen didn't happen in this book. I'm gonna run off to read the next one and see what happens there.

I received a free book and voluntarily chose to review it. I don’t read many ghosts and demon books, but I did enjoy this one. There are things in this book that I hope are made clearer in the next book. I can’t say much more because the book just jumps in with the strange things happening almost on the first page.

OMG AWESOME one of the best stories I have read Book one in the Cascade series Kendall grew up in the paranormal world but something happen to change her life and dhe wanted out. She married levi and had 3 kids; then one night the paranormal world she turned her back on was back and her husband couldn't handle it snd he left her. So now she is a divorced mom of 3 living in Austin, Texas and a part time exorcist. BUT once her kids start showing thier talents he seems to have a change of heart. Is it to little to late? A man from her past is back and she loved him to who will she pick? Malcolm her handle is also a man she can't remember from a different time and place along with people in her life. Why can't she remember? Wow this is an amazing and intricate story that will keep you guessing what will happen next and how things will turn out. It had me sitting at the edge of my seat and I couldn't put my book down. Fantastic! I am hooked and can't wait to read the next book in the series. Amazing characters, action, drama, and spice. I must read for Paranormal fans. Voluntary reviewed a copy and I honestly loved it.

Oh this is a refreshing take on the PNR genre! Kendall Madison Yates is normal - she has ignored her otherworld abilities for most of her adult life. She is a wife and mother and nothing hinky happens in her world. Until a ghost crashes a PTA meeting and suddenly she is being classed as a drunk, a cook and possibly a menace to society. No divorced from her first love Levi and with 3 children to support, she decided to go back to the one thing she was good at - clearing ghosts. But in doing so she unleashes all manner of weirdness onto her formerly orderly life! Malcolm is her new broker but clearly he knows more than he is telling and she is clearly drawn to him. Then there is Chase warning her away from the mysterious Malcolm. Best friend Victoria is always her cheerleader and but clearly not on the get-back-with Levi train! What ensues is a mix of madcap antics, mysterious missing period of times, alternate lives and frustrated love! I love the love triangle that forms and the platonic relationship with Chase which could have been more if he's been quicker off the mark. I love Kendalls; children who appear to have inherited her otherworld gifts and deal with them all in their own way. I'm totally Team Malcolm!!!

Kendall Madison’s life sucks. It’s been a year since her life went from great to destroyed, ever since her psychic upbringing came back and bit her in the butt. It’s been six months since her divorce was final and she’s still trying to make ends meet while raising her 3 kids. Her father puts her in touch with a broker named Malcolm Fallon to help her make more money. When she sees him, the attraction that she’s only ever felt for her husband is off the charts. This was a great book in a new series from this author. I really felt for everything Kendall went through. In the same position, I probably would’ve done the same. The writing was a bit different from the other series’ of hers I’ve read, but I really loved the difference. This was definitely my favorite from this author yet. I highly recommend.

Haunted Redemption The Cascade Book 1 by Rebecca Royce ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is an excellent paranormal romance. The town and minor characters came to life for me, making the story that much more enjoyable. Fantasy or not you are ready to return to the town again and again. Rebecca Royce always writes in a way that draws you into the story. This is just one of the things about her stories I love. Even though the things that her characters experiences are leagues out of our experience, we can still feel empathy for their story, it makes the story so believable and when you know the place that the characters come alive. Rebecca Royce has a great imagination she focus on the inner thoughts and the actions of her characters. I love more than thing how she combines the outer and inter happenings for her scenes. She uses the tension between the characters through out the story, so you can enjoy what it is they bring to the story. If you want to laugh, cry and feel like happily ever after is a real thing, this book is for you. Rebecca Royce has a gift for developing innovative, engrossing and believable story lines. She builds awesome fantasy worlds , providing amazing details that flesh out and enhance the story as well as the three dimensional primary and secondary characters. This story is so well written, well paced and has a number of unexpected twists and character development is outstanding. Rebecca Royce is not only gifted at creating a story that comes alive, but her characters have a deep three dimensional development. Kendall Madison is now divorce, but she is bearly holding on. She is having money problems, dealing with her three kids and did I mention hunting ghosts, there's no balance in her life. When she finally lands a job right up her alley, she hopes it’s a sign for better things to come. Of course this is only the beginning. Malcolm Fallon's way to get close to Kendall is to hire her. After years of yearning for her, he's ready to finally have the woman who’s always been his. But Kendall still have feelings for her ex-husband, Levi Yates, are complicated and not exactly platonic. Wow, this book has a great twist that I definitely wasn't expecting! I mean, we knew that Kendall had some missing memory , but I had no idea deep it would be. I really enjoyed this ghosts, demons and shadows. There is some humor in this story not much but enough it had me laughing out loud. Overall, this was another fantastic romance from Rebecca Royce. Which is so fascinating. I loved every aspect of the love-hate attraction between our two main characters. Rebecca Royce knows how to build the chemistry between the characters and the chemistry in this story is one you don't want to miss. I excited to read the next book in the series because I know that it will be exciting and so heartwarming. If you like to read a book about the unusual, then this is one. If you believe in the world of paranormal romance, the possibilities are endless and fascinating!

I am in love with this new series by Rebecca Royce! What a creative concept and plot! I've never seen anything quite like it. I was absolutely hooked right from the start and remained riveted to the last page. The characters were mysterious and emotionally deep and honest and so very real despite being paranormal in nature. They just draw you right into the story and they make you believe. There are just so many elements to this story... the love triangle, the talented, the ghosts, the demons, the shadow people, and the Others. This story keeps you guessing and keeps you on the edge of your seat... and you wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Rebecca Royce has a knack for making the unbelievable believable, but in an oh so amazing way. I would highly recommend this fascinating and gripping book, and I absolutely cannot wait to read the next book in the series. * I was given an ARC of this book by the author and voluntarily chose to review. All opinions are my own.
