Willow Cross is a multi-genre author who resides in Indiana. She also moonlights as a radio talk show host for The World of Ink Network’s The Paranormal Hour. A self-proclaimed vamp enthusiast, were-hunter, prankster, dreamer, story teller, benevolent dictator of minions, and chocolate lover, she spends her free time with family and friends, as well as participating in paranormal investigations. Her home has been known to host the occasional ghost and several of her friends profess to be witches. Although she dearly loves Vampires and Werewolves, they are never invited for dinner.

This was my first Nook book to read and I loved it. It contained very simple and straight forward accounts of someone's ghost stories. I would recommend this. My only dislike is that it was short, but for free you can't beat it. This book kept me very entertained.

¿Haunted¿ by Willow Cross, is a short collection of 100% true ghost stories from her life experiences. After reading all of Willow¿s other books so far, I couldn¿t wait to pick this one up and have a read. The book was short, and this made it an easy, quick and fun read, one that I thoroughly enjoyed! How unbelievable is this? Willow moving into not one, but FOUR haunted houses! Willow, you are one awesome ghost magnet! It was brilliant to read all of the experiences with the supernatural. I am amazed how brave Willow was, but she portrays how scary these encounters were. My favourite story has to be the ¿Blue Girl!¿ I think that the fact that these are 100% true ghost stories, this makes them more scary and unnerving! I would definitely recommend this book to any lover of the supernatural and paranormal genre and would with no hesitation give this five out of five stars!

I love a good ghost tale and this fit the bill. Only wish was for it to be longer.

After reading Oceans of Red Volume 1, I could not help but jump towards this book! Willow has a way of writing that makes her books totally addicting! Each of these short tales of hauntings were "spooky" yet hilarous at the same time. I love how she incorporated stories where she was completely at ease with the "others" and stories where she was actually afraid herself! My favorite was the last story about the "Blue Girl" in the older house. Every time I move I am always curious to find what was left behind, although I have never found anything as fun as that painting! This is definitely a fun read for the Halloween holiday.

This book contains a story that is completely un-original, tiresome and puhleeeeeese... I hate to be so hard on the author, but really? I don't want to reveal anything but, without developing the characters the author has the lead characters met, saved, moved in, trained in magic, kidnapped and rescued, love struggle and man fights over a girl all in the space of a week's time. And if I ever read that the girl "blushes" again, I think I'll end up blowing up my NOOK. Oh yeah, she learns how to defend herself to the point of being able to fight half an army in 2 sessions. I don't know, teen dream, maybe? But not mine. Good luck, maybe you can get with the groove.

I love when people have the courage to speak out about there experiences!!!  This was a great read!! It is a story (or) should I say many diffrent stories by Willow Cross herself and the crazy things she has witnessed in her life. I enjoyed reading about her experinses with the scary things pople ignore. Scary things happen everyday, and I am glad Willow is crazy enough to write about them... :)

Each story was spooky chilling right down to the last word. By far the best I have ever read so far. I look forward to reading more of your works.

Nothing too sensational or over-the-top, but a fun read nonetheless.

I’m not a big fan of short stories for many reasons, but while I was sick in bed I needed a quick read and as I skimmed through my kindle I decided to finally read Haunted by Willow Cross. I don’t believe in ghosts or anything paranormal at all, but I was scared out of my mind! I could imagine every single detail she described and knowing that it really happened to her as well as her family and friends, freaked me out even more. Suddenly I also started hearing strange noises in our apartment and couldn’t wait for hubby to get home. So thank you Ms Cross, for effectively creeping me out in less than half an hour!

Very Accurate. This book, while not scary or shocking, does a very good job of describing average hauntings. Most hauntings are exactly as the author portrays them - doors slamming, things seen in the corner of one's eye, whispers, shadows and so on. And they aren't things that happen every day. The author makes that clear, and she is right. Not sure why she seems to be haunted everywhere she lives, but as I have experiences like that also I can certainly relate. There are a lot of times when nothing happens at all. So, if you are looking for a realistic portrayal of hauntings, this is the book for you. If you're looking for the sensational kind of stuff like on TV shows such as "Paranormal Witness" or "The Haunting", you will be disappointed, because real hauntings are nothing like that. Good for the author, for writing an honest account of ghostly phenomena!

Great little book! This short read is a collection of actual ghostly encounters as experienced by the author. She states that these are 100% true and have not been embellished for entertainment purposes. My rating leans more towards 3 1/2 stars. I really enjoyed these tales. More written like a blog rather than a book, I got it free from Barnes and Noble not realizing how small it was. My only gripe is that I wish it had been longer! I personally am not sure how I feel about ghosts. I think I may have seen one when I was a kid, but looking back, I'm still not sure about that. Without any further sightings in my life to date, I really can't decide if I think they are real or not. However I always enjoy hearing other peoples thoughts and experiences and these were great. You could tell the author was pretty straight forward in her accounts and didn't embellish her stories. That's what makes them that much more believable. Being a huge horror film fan and reading more than my fair share of horror novels, I can't say that these are going to keep me up at night, but it was still a very entertaining book and I look forward to reading the other books she has written on this subject.

Some people attract the bizarre more often than others. Good stories. Enjoyed the book.
