A sweet, lovely story about love finally conquering all, Have You Any Rogues? was a wonderful historical romance novella. It was sweet, romantic, and a thoroughly enjoyable read. Henrietta was a good heroine, for the most part. She was a strong character who was determined to live life on her own terms. Thing is, that came with some drawbacks. I didn't understand why her first response to having doubts about Crispin was getting married to someone else. I mean, what? The first time I understood because she thought he was dead. But marriages 2 and 3, those didn't make sense to me. If she loved him as much as she claimed, she should have given him the benefit of the doubt. It was a little frustrating, which led me to knock off a point on the rating. Otherwise, though, she was a great character. I might have gotten annoyed with her, but I still liked her.  Crispin was wonderful. He was so sweet and charming and absolutely devoted to Henrietta. He never wavered in his love to her, even when there was a lot of cause for doubt. He was perfect and I adored him. The romance was lovely. It was mostly sweet, but there was a sprinkle of spice. I thought it was so sweet that, throughout all the trials and tribulations their relationship went through, they were always steadfast in their love for each other, even though they may have had doubts in the other direction and their feuding families were doing everything they could to keep them apart.. I thought they were a sweet couple. The plot was fast paced. I was hooked the entire way through. I really enjoyed the story and I thought the ending was lovely, though I wish we had gotten an epilogue just to see the reaction of Henrietta and Crispin's family when they found out that the lovebirds got married. But, I still liked how it ended. Have You Any Rogues?  was a lovely historical romance novella. It was a sweet story of love enduring despite the very many obstacles in its path. Lovers of romance, this is a book you'll want to check out. *I received a free copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review

This was a cute quick read. Seldons vs Dales for several generations. But Henrietta Seldon loves Crispin, Viscount Dale even though they've had several miscommunications and family interference. Thankfully a locked wine cellar forces them together. No more info as this a novella and I won't write spoilers. I enjoyed it.

This is just a quickie review, especially considering that this book took me about 45 minutes to read. I knew it wouldn't take very long to read, so I just read it last night right before I went to bed. Have You Any Rogues is a very interesting take on a "Romeo and Juliet" theme. The majority of the book involves flashbacks, and sometimes I didn't mind, but others I got a bit frustrated with it a bit. I am not a huge fan of flashbacks, but I did understand by the end why the author put all the flashbacks in. The characters were interesting, through the flashbacks you see how they almost get their HEA but something disrupts their trust in each other, and boy this heroine got married quite a bit. I did enjoy the ending and the reconciliation between them. I do love the theme of the most recent series by this author. It had a charming quality to the story, and I loved the way the story turned out. I do plan on reading more of this author, because I am fascinated with her writing style. Even though it had a couple aspects to the story I didn't like so much, overall a fun romance that will wet your appetite.

I liked this book just wished it was a novel and not a short story. All of the Rhymes with Love story so far is better than the first.

I agree with the above post. There was a lot there...a lot of flashbacks. Not much in the "now." I would have liked to see a little more of that.

The author had a lot to work with and I think this would have better served as a full-length novel in the series.
