Overview

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas [Japan EP]

The distanced cool of Diana Krall's vocals lends itself well to the wintry flavor of the three holiday favorites that make up her Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas EP, highlighted by her rendition of Vince Guaraldi's "Christmas Time Is Here." [The Japanese version adds three non-holiday bonus tracks.]

Beinging a great fan of Dianna Krall, I was excited to get a CD with a little more Christmas music by her. I was aware that there were only 6 titles listed, but I figured that they would be lengthy at the very least. Not so, all 6 renditions were of average to short length. My advise is considering the $33.11 price tag on this CD it would be best left on the shelves of the Japanese music shops. It's definitely far from a good buy. I would judge this CD to be worth no more than $11.99. I would love to get my $20.00 back. I could then save it for a more entertainment packed CD by Ms. Krall.
