•Love Havoc might be the 4th book in the Mayhem series, but it's the first one I've read and I absolutely feel in love with the series. I look guard to reading not only the first three books but to more of the series. This is a love story that has family drama, dreams and insecurities to deal with before it turns into a wonderful HEA. I loved the progression Jamie took add well as her writing style. Due to sexual situations, this book is recommended for readers 17 and older! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book via Tasty Book Tours through Edelweiss for an honest blog tour review.

5 “Mike owns my heart!” Stars! HAVOC is sexy, heartfelt, devastatingly sweet and utterly romantic! It’s everything and so much more. Perfect characters, perfect story, PERFECT READ! The Review: This series just got better and better as each book was released. I absolutely adored Adam in book one. He made me fall in love with rock stories all over again. I have enjoyed each hot, delicious member of “The Last Ones to Know” as each guy had a unique and consuming story. But Mike... oh Mike, you fan-tabulous, soul searing, heart throbbing, panty-melting star! I LOVED your story the most and trust me, after Adam, I didn't think that was going to be possible. With easy and fun banter, butterfly inducing angsts and a sincere story, this read has, without a doubt, gone into “one of my all time favorites” pile and I know I’ll be rereading it over and over again.

This series is by far one of my favs. Havoc is a great romance. Hayley is a kind-hearted person, but she has the devil on her shoulder aka Danica. She tries and tries to bring her down, but in all honesty, I believe she’s always been threatened by her. Cause Danica could never be anything like Hayley. Mike, the lone drummer who's been waiting for the perfect woman to come into his life. Who ends up finding it. There were a lot of moments again, where I’m just yelling at Hayley. Like, don’t listen to your witch of a cousin. But what happens, in the end, is Justified. I don’t think I’ve ever hated a character as much as Danica. I love how Hayley and Mike came together. They were perfect for each other and all the obstacles they had to go through, were worth it. I have to say I’m going to miss listening to this series and these characters. After listening to the series, I have no idea what I’m going to listen to next. Jamie is a very talented writer, and I love how she’s able to make these characters so relatable. The narrators were terrific as well and highly enjoyed listening to the narration. Overall, Five Boundless Stars.

I've been waiting for Mike's book since I read Mayhem last year. Reading about this character for three books made me anxious to get my hands on Havoc. And I was not disappointed. Mike and Hailey are amazing characters and even more amazing as a couple. When you pick up a romance novel you always want to fall in love with the main characters and I fell head over heels for this man. It's the little things that he does in this book that prove that he's worth falling for. If you haven't read this book series you're missing out on something amazing. This is one of the best book series I've ever read.

3 1/2 stars For probably 3/4 of the novel I was loving this book despite the fact that it felt extremely Young Adult to me rather than the New Adult that it’s supposed to be, except for the sudden sex scene, which was good, spontaneous, and definitely hot (and rarely happens in ya fiction). There were lots of sweet moments and Hailey was a nice change from the typical main character, although I would definitely have believed her to be sixteen or seventeen from her behavior rather than 23. At the 3/4 mark, Hailey’s lack of self-esteem driven angst continued for far too many pages for this reader. The fact that Hailey’s whinge-fest resulted in Mike’s need to return home sucked eggs. While I can imagine that to the very young that seems romantic (“oh, bliss, he’s willing to throw his career away for me!) as an adult it felt needy and co-dependent. Pull yourself up and adult already! Up to this point it was definitely a 4 to a 4.5 butterfly book for me. It’s also here where all of the fiddly issues come out such as: if it’s 8 am in Virginia, it is not nighttime in London, at least not recently. And then I was not impressed with Hailey and Danica’s show-down, which seemed unlikely and immature for women in their twenties. Danica, Hailey’s cousin, was a bit too over-the-top for me. Mean girls don’t hit. They pull hair. They slash tires. They spread gossip. But the chance that they could break a nail or their own skin? Not happening. I loved Hailey’s family, especially her little brother. They had a great relationship. Mike was definitely a good guy. I might read the other novels just to see the transition of characters throughout. It was while I was reading the Epilogue that I knew what would have worked for me with this book: alternating points-of-view (pov). The beginning of the Epilogue was written from Mike’s pov and, yes, it would have been great to have had that in Havoc. It would have alleviated the seemingly endless pages of Hailey’s pity-party. Also, we would have seen the band on the road and, for this reader, that’s part of the fun of a rock star novel: the rock star actually being a rock star. Coincidentally in the past six months this is the second rock star novel I’ve read with a romance between a veterinary student and a rock star. Odd but true. Here’s a link to the other: Summer of Irreverence. It too was a New Adult. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

4.5 of 5 Stars Jamie Shaw rocked Havoc. Veterinarian student, Hailey Harper, ends up falling for her egocentric cousin, Danica’s ex-boyfriend, Mike Madden. Now that Mike’s bad is making it big, Danica once again has her sight set on him. This contemporary Rockstar romance is suitable for new adult audiences. Jamie Shaw does a great job with her character development. They are complex and well-developed. I like Mike. My son is also a drummer, so I always have a little bias towards drummers. Mike has a big heart, is talented, and has a great personality. I love how he treats Hailey’s little brother, Luke. Hailey is a sweet heroine. I’m an animal lover, so her being a vet student is a big plus. She is a great girl who is down to earth. She is caring and smart. I love how she befriends the band and their girlfriends. Danica is a piece of work. Her actions cause some fascinating controversies in the story. She is a selfish individual who is used to getting what she wants. Some of the things that come out of her mouth just made me shake my head. She is the opposite of Hailey. It’s hard to believe they’re related. I enjoyed the plot. There were a lot of complexities involved in the various relationships that made the story interesting, especially, between Hailey’s family. I love the video game scenes. I adored the ending. This was the first book I read by Jamie Shaw. I really enjoyed her writing style. I am interested in going back and reading the earlier books in the Mayhem series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Jamie Shaw has an amazing way with words that captivated me from start to finish for every book in the Mayhem series. Havoc is the last book in this series and one that I was immensely looking forward to. I can honestly say that this series went out with a bang! Going into this book I didn't know who I liked best, Shawn or Mike. Because of this I was so exited to read Mike's story and learn more about him. After reading Havoc, Mike took the crown from Shawn. As soon as I started reading, I refused to put my Nook down. I told myself that sleep was overrated because I needed to know how this book ended. I loved Hailey as soon as I met her and wanted Danica to be out of the picture. I loved the tangible chemistry between Hailey and Mike. I have been waiting for this book since I first met Mike in Chaos, and I have to say that I was happy and sad while reading this book. Sad because it meant that my brief time with The Last Ones to Know was over, But happy because I finally got to meet and fall for Mike. I cannot wait to see what Jamie writes next! I can only hope that it will bring me as much joy as this series did.

Havoc is the last book in the amazing Mayhem series and is just like how I expected… perfection. Its like the final lyrics to your favourite song, you don’t want to end. I started reading this book as a complete Adam girl, but I must say Mike has taken the best boyfriend award from him. Usually in a series of books, the first one is always my favourite, but Havoc has been the exception. This was a great book! The book started off with me giggling to myself in the very first paragraph. Within the first chapter, I was already rooting for Hailey and despising Danica. I loved the chemistry between Hailey and Mike and I love how Jamie Shaw can make you feel everything that Hayley is feeling. After finishing this book and this series, I believe Jamie Shaw deserves a standing ovation for one of the best series that I have ever read. I read Havoc in one sitting and I didn’t want to end. The ending of this series was bitter sweet for me. I’ve been waiting for Mike to find his happily ever after since I first met him in Mayhem, but I’m sad that this series is over. Thank God I can read them over and over again. I look forward to whatever Jamie Shaw has up her sleeve next! Sweet dreams

I just finished this book and I loved it!!!! Jamie Shaw has done it again and made me fall for another member of the band but the drummer is my now favorite !! *insert dreamy eyes* Can i keep him??!! Mike Madden , man what can i say about him other than he is PERFECT, HOT, ROMANTIC, DREAMY, A DRUMMER, did i say HOT?! and Hailey she is such a sweet heart . I cannot believe she's related to Danica. I don't think I've ever hated a character as much as I did Danica. And the scenes with Mike and Hailey had me putting on a fan during winter it was just that HOT!! Now I need a truck in my life ;) It was also great seeing the other characters from the series , especially Rowan and Dee. I need friends like them!! I don't want to go into detail about it because its better if you just dive into Mike and Hailey's story without spoilers. But just know that their story is a beautiful ending for this series. Havoc had me swooning, crying , laughing, fanning my self, biting my nails, cursing some one out *Danica*, and by the end of it I was overfilled with happiness for these characters. It's sad to say goodbye to these characters in the Mayhem series but at the same time its's a great feeling knowing they have a happy ending. Jamie Shaw is one of my favorite authors . Her writing just pulls you so into the story that you don't want to put it down ; well I didn't want to. My First read of 2017 and such a perfect way to start it!

I fell in love with Mike Madden right away when he was first introduced. He was nice, loved video games, and didn't hook up with random girls just because he could. Havoc starts out with his ex-girlfriend trying to get back with him. Danica is mean but beautiful so he was blinded by her beauty and fell in love with her when they were in high school. So, when he sees her again, and she wants to get back with him, he seems to say, "Why the hell not?" Hailey, Danica's down to earth cousin, finds a friend in Mike. After their first night playing video games together they seem to find time whenever they can to play together. But with Mike's sweetness to not only her but to her little brother, Hailey finds herself falling for her cousin's man. When Dee and Rowan see the sparks between Mike and Hailey they try to plot to get the two of them together. Their mutual hatred for Danica and their affection toward Mike motivate them more than anything. But when Danica finds out that the two of them are attracted to each other, she threatens to take everything away from Hailey. So, that means that Hailey has to figure out if Mike is worth losing everything for. Lets start with what I LOVED about Havoc: I loved how Mike and Hailey played video games together and they could just be themselves with each other. No pretending. No bullsh*t. I loved how Dee and Rowan still had a part in this story even though they aren't part of the band. They pulled Hailey into their inner circle and gave her true friendships. I loved how Mike fought for Hailey. All those things combined made me plow through the book in almost one sitting. I fell in love with Jamie's series in the first book and I knew I wouldn't be let down by Mike's story even though his was the last. I felt I could relate to the story a lot because my fiance and I connected with each other through video games. Some things that I didn't like as much: That Mike went back with Danica (HATE HER). That Mike had to leave for a tour. I wasn't a huge fan of the music video scene and it seemed to take up a lot of the story. (It was well written so that is my opinion and you will probably love it). Overall, this is one of my top contemporary reads so far of the year. If you haven't read the first book (Mayhem) then you need to like NOW. You won't regret picking up this amazing series. You'll wish you were either in their band (the

I have been waiting to read Mike's book since the start of the Mayhem series and I am so happy to say that Jamie Shaw does not disappoint in the least! Mike Madden is the drummer for the up and coming rock band The Last Ones to Know. He has watched as his friends and bandmates find love and really Mike is the one who is really been looking. He thought he found it with his childhood girlfriend Danica but really she is only after one thing what makes her look good. Then when he meets Hailey Harper, sweet, beautiful and loving he finally finds the girl of his dreams - the problem is she is Danica's cousin. Hailey Harper needs her cousin Danica; coming from a poor family Hailey's dream has always been to be a veterinarian, but Hailey needs Danica's fathers money to go to school. When her cousin drags her to a Last Ones to Know concert and she meets Mike her whole world is turned upside down. Mike is finally the one man who has given her that spark - he really loves her for who she is but can Hailey risk everything she has dreamed of for Mike, does she want to? Jamie Shaw does something that can be very hard to balance, she writes Hailey with conviction and a sweetness that doesnt make her to cooke cutter. Told from Hailey's POV we can truly get a sense of her inner turmoil and insecurity but when she finally gets fed up stand back Hailey is a force to be reckoned with. Mike is as special as we all hoped he would be from the first 3 books. He loves his friends and Hailey unconditionally and will do anything to make everyone happy (even fly home for a few hours). We do get to see the other members of the band and I loved that Dee and Rownan become Hailey's friends - also there maybe a cameo from Leti (so perfect). All in all Ms Shaw does a fantastic job wrapping up the series and gives Mike the book he deserves. I cant wait to see what she comes up with next!

Talk about ending a series on the right note. In the fictional rock group The Last Ones to Know, we've met all the other members of the band. Adam, the lead singer, is the leader of the group. Joel, the rhythm guitarist, is the fun one. Shawn, the lead guitarist, is the brains of the operation. But Mike - Mike Madden, the drummer - he's the heart. Back in high school, Mike had a girlfriend who was his everything. But, Danica left him for greener pastures. Now that he's made it big, Danica is back and looking to reconnect with Mike and share his spotlight. Mike, being the sweet guy that he is, gives it a go. I mean, he's been hung up on her - or rather, the idea of her - for years. But, he didn't plan on her cousin Hailey being along for the ride. In the history of mean girls, there has never been one more awful than Danica. She is superficial, narcissistic, spoiled and hateful. She entered college just so she could get back together with Mike - not to get an education. But, Hailey, whose family doesn't have much money, is sent along with Danica to babysit her. Despite what an awful job that is, it comes with some undeniable perks. Her uncle is paying for all of her school expenses. And getting a degree and a good job that will help out her family is all Hailey cares about. So, she puts up with Danica's constant verbal abuse for the greater good. And Mike puts up with Danica because he feels he owes it to himself to explore this relationship that he has had up on a pedestal for so long. Now, this larger-than-life girl from his memories is back, and he wants to honor them by giving it a real try. Seriously - could Hailey and Mike be any more perfect for one another? Their martyr complexes are unbelievable. But, that's the wonderful thing about Havoc - in each other, they find a safe place. Someone around whom they can relax and laugh and be themselves. They can eat pizza, drink beer and play video games. They don't have to walk on eggshells for fear of setting off a bomb. Their existence in each others' lives becomes as necessary as air. Which is a problem for Hailey, since Mike is her evil cousin's boyfriend. Even when she tries to put distance between them, she and Mike keep finding ways to come back together. Never have I ever wanted to see a mean girl get put in her place and a couple truly meant for each other to have their big moment. There are so many incredibly satisfying moments in Havoc. Every time Mike and Hailey share a meaningful glance. Every time one of them helps the other out. Every time they find a way to be together despite Danica's constant presence - it feels like winning a big game. It's those moments that made Havoc such a fantastic book. Jamie Shaw gives us these winning moments here and there so that we're not so constantly frustrated by Danica's scheming. Since Havoc is the final book in this series, there's lots of time spent with the other band members and their girlfriends. The very end was so unbelievably perfect - it really put the exclamation point on the series as a whole. THIS is how a finale is done.

The story of Mike Madden and Hailey Harper couldn't be more perfect. Havoc was everything I hoped it would be and more. As a fan, I have been rooting for Mike to find a girl like Hailey since the first Mayhem book. Hailey is such a sweet character. You can not help but fall in love with her. She is sweet and caring. Plus, she loves animals! I might of shed a few tears while she is at the animal shelter volunteering. I never thought I would fall for Mike Madden. I have always been team Shawn. This book changed that for me completely. He is the best of the band. He loves and he loves hard. Mike deserves more than 5 stars for his treatment of Hailey. Then, there is the villain. Someone we all HATE... Danica. This character is the worst. She's Dolores Umbridge evil. She makes Hailey's life miserable. The entire time I had hoped something would happen to her. Thankfully, it does! I am sad to see the Mayhem series come to a close. Jamie does a great job wrapping up the lose ends. Loved it and wish there was more!

I was given the amazing privilege of reading an advanced copy of Havoc, and OHHH MY GOSH! Once I started I literally could not put it down! I read the other 3 books in this series, but this one has become my most favorite! Mike is TO DIE FOR! He is everything anyone ever wants in a man! I honestly do not think the ending could have been any better than it was! (As talented as Jamie Shaw is, I'm sure she could prove me wrong there!) Not only did she make sure Mike lived up to his sweetheart name, she did a phenomenal job at writing about ALL of the characters. It was just PERFECT! And, OH SO HOT!!! If you haven't read her other 3 books in this series (Mayhem, Riot and Chaos) I suggest you do so now, because you are seriously missing out! This is by far my most favorite series EVER! The only thing that would make it better is if I were Hailey. Now, READ READ READ READ READ!!!!!

I have loved the other books in this series, so requesting it was a sure thing. Love love loved Hailey and Mike. They're absolutely adorable together and their chemistry is off the charts. They're both genuinely nice people, so it was easy to root for them. The rest of the band was in the book and it was delightful to see them all again. Yes, the plot line is exactly what you would expect. I'll admit Hailey's constant second guessing and berating her looks got so so so old, but Jamie writes a good story. I knew there was a HEA on the horizon, I just had to wait for Hailey to get her act together. And trust me, the epilogue doesn't disappoint. My main complaint is that this is the last book of the series. I might just have to start at the beginning. **Huge thanks to Avon Impulse and Edelweiss for providing the arc free of charge**

Talk about drama! Holy cow, this story had an amazingly evil villain. I haven't read a book with a meanie like Danica, and this dynamic of her wanting her boyfriend back made for some pretty tense moments in the book. I couldn't wait to see how everything got resolved! I found myself getting frustrated with Hailey. Maybe I'm just not a nice person, but she was being a compete pushover, and I don't think even a real-life nice person would overlook all of the things Hailey did. Don't get me wrong, the story is great and the ending was wonderful once she pulled her head out of her bottom. But aside from that character trait, I liked her inner monologues and sense of humor. Mike was a total charmer. He said all of the right things and had quite a few "Awwww!" moments. I'll admit I wasn't sure what to think of him at the beginning of the book, but he sorta grew on me as the story went on. I loved the supporting characters. All of them (except Danica). While I haven't read their stories before reading this one, I am VERY interested in doing so, like, yesterday ;) (I received a copy of this book in consideration of an honest review)

I fell so hard for this sweet, sexy drummer!!! Can you see all the hearts floating around me and the ones shining in my eyes? They're there, I know it, because Mike Madden is PERFECTION personified and I LOVE him! He was always my favorite but after reading Havoc, favorite doesn't feel like a strong enough word anymore. Obsession may be better suited. Jamie Shaw's Havoc is everything I could have ever hoped for. I love love loved it. I did not want to stop reading. I had to force myself to slow down so it wouldn't end too fast. The fourth and final book in the Mayhem series (*whimpers) is filled with love, humor, angst and great character chemistry. Mike and Hailey are too cute together and so very compatible. I adore Hailey. Her mannerism and insecurities made her so relatable. She's just the sweetest and a great match up for Mike.... *Swoon Mike. That sweet talented drummer who'd rather play video games than hook up with a groupie, melted my heart. I wanted his story the second, I met him in Mayhem. I was NOT disappointed. Gah! I just want to hug him. He's such a good guy. Oh yeah and he's also H-O-T hot! (BEST GUY EVER!!) Although, that should come as no surprise since all the members of The Last Ones to Know are crazy gorgeous. I'm so sad to see this series come to an end. These Last Ones to Know boys and their girls left a huge lasting impression in my soul.

I have been waiting for Mike's story since I met him in Mayhem and he did not disappoint. I absolutely adored this book!! Mike has been looking for the love of his life since his high school girlfriend broke his heart. He didn't fall into the trappings of fame like his band mates did; he wanted to wait for the one. When said high school girlfriend comes back into his life she brings her cousin Hailey with her. Hailey is small town girl with a penchant for video games and dreams of becoming a veterinarian. She wasn't looking to fall in love with cousins boyfriend, but Mike Madden is sweet and kind and everything Hailey never knew she always wanted. Between late night gaming sessions, a sickness that makes its way through the band, and their first music video sparks really begin to fly. Sacrifices have to be made and soon Mike and Hailey are forced to choose between all they have worked for and true love.

Let me just start with... WOW! Mike has been my favorite since the first time we were introduced to him, and has only increased through the each story. Sooo of course he deserves the absolute best! I think Jamie did the best job pairing him the correct cousin. Hailey and Mike's story is my absolute favorite. Not just because the suspense of waiting for him to have his own book has be killing us all! but because OMG Mike!! He's so yummy, and who would've thought that sweet smile, and his heart of gold, could say the most deliciously dirty things
