Story was ok. As far as a series goes, not enough detail to care about next book.

This Sex and Bullets series really is intoxicating! I love the mix of action and romance, it's one of my favorite combinations. This book had so much of both! Hawk got himself in one of the craziest situations, and the way he handled it was quite entertaining. He really knew how to make life hard for himself. Then we have Layla, miss Hot Body. She was a great addition to this book! The interactions between her and Hawk were intoxicating. The chemistry these two have is insane, and they both have this insane need to protect each other. There were great twists and turns, and lots of things I didn't expect. Jo did a great job of keeping us on our toes the whole time. Another thing I loved about this book is how we saw more insight to the lives of the Storm & Raylin. I can't wait to see where Jo takes us next!!

This book continues the search for justice by bringing down an evil organization. The story follows the first book Storm and the prequel for this book Caught. In Caught Hawk and Layla meet by chance when her boyfriend of two years publicly dumps her and Hawk comes to her rescue. They develop a hot a heavy between the sheets relationship that is limited to the bedroom; but what was supposed to be one passionate night is still going a year later, because, despite efforts to keep it solely physical, deeper feelings have developed. Meanwhile, Hawk takes steps to take down the powerful criminal power broker organization his parents belonged to before he turned them in. There is a whole lot of pain and suffering as well as emotional growth for Hawk and Layla on the way to discovering their true feelings and the truth behind appearances of themselves and those around them. Hawk especially has to dig deep to allow others in to see his truths and to stop pushing people away. The author did a great job of showing his twisted pain fears and angst. I am anxious to see where things go next in Rook's story.

Wow, what can I say about this book and not give any spoilers? I love this book. This is more or less a continuation from Caught. The relationship, if you can call it that, between Hawk and Laya continues in Hawk. Hot Alpha male and a woman that does not curl up in the corner to cry and hide from the world is what you get with the two main characters. With the hot sex and the suspense that goes on in this book you really could not ask for more. This book had me sitting on the edge of my seat as I read it from beginning to end in one sitting. I Highly Recommend this book. You can’t go wrong with this read and I look forward to the next book in this series.

## Seriously??? This "hero" (HA) and this heroine have been having sex for a year and he has never once called her by her name. Only "Hot body". Even if it's only sex between them, a little respect would've been nice. Not to mention when he's trying to get rid of her, he chokes her during sex, purposely trying to hurt her. This woman is just stupid! No thanks.

Jo Raven has done it again. I absolutely loved Hawk. It was intriguing from start to finish and I could not put it down. The storyline is great and the love scenes Hawt. Hehehe. I cannot wait for the next in the series. And if you have not checked out Caught you should really read that first as it gives you insight into Hawk and Layla’s relationship.
