Vampires, motorcycles and romance, this book has it all. Patricia Rasey continues her Sons of Sangue series with Hawk. Kaleb "Hawk" Tepes is now the leader of the Sons after his twin Viper steps down as president of the club and someone is trying to kill him. As Hawk and the other club members try to find out who and why someone is trying to kill him,Suzi, a donor, who has been in love with Hawk for a long time, now becomes a target of the killer as well. I thought Viper was outstanding and couldn't put it down. Ms Rasey has out done herself with Hawk. This is one of the best vampire/MC books I have read all year. The plot and characters were so interesting.Just when you think you can take a breath, Ms Rasey throws in a surprise character that makes you say "Wow". I enjoyed this book so much, I look forward to reading it again. I can't wait for the next book in the series. Received a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

3.5* Hawk is the second book in the Sons of Sangue series and well worth reading.  Susi Stevens has pined for Kaleb "Hawk" Tepes for over 10 years and a Hawk has done everything to avoid her. To him she a cold hearted bit$h who showed no sorrow when Ion Tepes her mate to be died. Kaleb can't seem to get passed his hatred for her even when he dreams of his hands all over her. She's been gone for 6 months without a word she can no longer take seeing him parading women in front of her. Susie is a strong spirited and sassy women and a Hawk is one very hot alpha male that at times I wanted to punch.  Someone is out to take Hawks head. After hearing of Hawks near death Susie just needs to make sure he's ok. Hawk decides to revoke her retirement and she to be his donor and only his. Punishment is sweet revenge...but is it really? There's a fine line between love and hate.

The Sons of Sangue are back with Hawk's story. I was hoping his would be next after reading Viper's. This story was NOT a disappointment. It fed my need for more Son's of Sangue!!! I hope you have read Hawks story though I wont be giving away spoilers because that ruins it for everyone, some things in my review will make you want to read it if you hadn't. Patricia A Racey did FANTABULOUS with Hawk and Suzi's story! Kaleb 'Hawk' Tepes the younger brother to Viper and the new President of the Son's of Sangue MC has been searching for his brother and his brother's mate Clara for the past 6 months when he went AWOL. When a call comes in from their puppet club the Knights saying that Viper needed help Kaleb and some members loaded up and went even as he was questioning why his brother would call the Knights and not his own MC. Because of luck and a flat tire Kaleb survived an attempt to behead him that night, but unfortunately two of the MC's members didn't. Faced with survivors guilt he heads to Blood N Rave and tries his best to drink enough alcohol fast enough to beat his metabolism. Suzi Stevens left Pleasant 6 months ago after her last run in with Hawk. She couldn't take any more of watching him with other women and she couldn't stand to be a donor to other men so she left and retired herself from being a donor to the vampires. When her roommate told her that someone tried to behead Hawk she had to see for herself he was OK, even though she knew it was a very bad idea. She didn't know just how bad an idea it was. The beheading attempts continue and a clear picture of who is doing it is realized, but you can't stop someone you can't find. This book is full of surprises!! I want to say so much more, but I could ruin it for everyone!! I'm just going to say, you will NOT be disappointed in this book and the next one just from the set up being written in this one is going to be explosive! I can't freakin wait!! Hawks story kept me thinking about it well after I was done reading it. I love how easily both these books flowed into the other. They have a wealth of details about the donating society and the Sons of Sague MC. You don't want to miss out on living it! This was another Fantastical book Patricia A Rasey!! *** I was given this book by the publisher for my honest review**

3.5 out of 5 stars I liked this story a lot. There’s a nice introduction and details throughout so even if you didn’t read the first book you wouldn’t be lost. Kaleb/Hawk and Suzi have a serious love-hate relationship going on. Lots of animosity but an intriguing attraction and pull between the two strong personalities. There’s a nice amount of tension and heat throughout that kept things interesting. I love the fact that the twins Kaleb and Kane, have two have very distinct personalities and the author did a great job at really showing that. I really enjoyed the side stories involving Cara, the MC brothers and Primordial Vampires. I also liked that we got more Kane/Viper and Cara from book one. I loved the introduction of the story with Tamara and Grayson/Gypsy and Anton/Blondy. I am looking forward to that story! This story is told from several different POV's and I loved all the different perspectives. The first half had an decent pace but I thought some parts had repetitive descriptions. The second half had a better flow for me. There were bits of drama and tension throughout and a big build up to the end. I really enjoyed it but I would have liked that main conflict at the end to be more detailed, it wrapped up a little too quickly for me. If you’re a fan of vampires and bikers then I’d definitely give this a read! :-) Complimentary copy received for honest review.

I absolutely love this series. Ms. Rasey takes paranormal, adds bikers and a whole lot of sexiness in this new series. Hawk is book two in the Sons of Sangue series, the first book being Viper. She picks up where Viper left off and its non-stop action, sexual tension, rage, emotions, you name it you got it from page one. I will not give away any spoilers but the climatic ending has me impatiently waiting for book number three. Ms. Rasey, hats off to you, job well done. This is an enjoyable series.

I absolutely loved this book!  This was the perfect follow up to Viper.  We get a whole new story between Suzi & Kaleb but we aren't left wondering about the characters in Viper.  I really enjoyed how they all meshed together and we even get glimpses of the series to come.   This book was fast-paced and exciting.  The hot was way hot but it wasn't all about that.  We learned more about the personalities of some of the side characters who seem to be taking a bigger role in teh series to come.   One of the things I love most about this series is that the truly bad guy in the series...is a woman!  And not just some psycho female, no, she is a strong, smart woman who stands on her own two feet and is able to manipulate others to do her bidding, it's just fantastic!   And let's not forget the appearance of...nope, not going to spoil it, but OMG it was a huge OMG moment!   This series has so much potential.  The writing is clean, mature and strong which just makes this an all around great series to keep track of.  After I finished Hawk I was in serious book hangover, I just couldn't get the characters out of my head and now....I'm in waiting mode!  I need more of Sons!

This is book 2 of the Sons of Sangue book series by author Patricia Rasey. I thought book 1 was great and Patricia Reasy did not let me down with book 2. Kaleb is now the president of the MC group, Sons of Sangue, since Kane was ousted as president for breaking the rules of the group. Some one wants him dead after 2 of his guys are killed but there are no leads and a pretty little blood donor is taking up too much of his mind lately. Suzi  has loved Kaleb for years but after the 1 time they were together and after his nephews death she is trying to hate him because he broke her heart. When word get out someone tried to kill him her world gets turned inside out again over this man. The character Kaleb is more cold hearted bad boy You just can't help but love the bad boy when he tries to show his love to his female character Suzi. Great story line and the characters work so well together that they make the book worth the read. Trying to find out who is out for his head and coming to terms with his feeling for a gal, Kaleb also has to deal with his brothers in the gang. Kaleb and Kane work together to find out the truth. Because of strong language and sexual content this book is for mature paranormal readers. Patricia Rasey has outdone herself with Hawk in my opinion and I hear book 3 will be just as good as the first 2.

Viper was a great introduction to the Sons of Sons of Sangue MC. But Patricia Rasey could not have done a better job continuing the story with Hawk. Hawk hates the woman he loves. But what is a man to do. His woman disappears for years and he does not know what to do. Then Susie walks back into his life and all hell breaks loose. This book is a true teaser of what is to come with the MC. I love the way Rasey have the two dancing around each other. Then when her life is in danger, Hawk knows he can never live without her. The suspense of how this will work out is enough to keep you reading until you are finished. A great read.

Our Review, by LITERAL ADDICTION's Pack Alpha - Chelle: *Copy gifted by the author in exchange for an honest review After thoroughly enjoying Viper (book #1), I was more than excited for the release of Hawk. Especially because Kaleb grabbed my attention in book #1 and made me want to know more... Hawk picks up where Viper left off, but I believe it can be read well as standalone. I would personally recommend reading the books in order - Viper and then Hawk - but if you're unable, you will be able to enjoy Hawk without first reading Viper. Just not *quite* as much.  In Viper, the Sons were forced to kill a primordial vampire, make some shaky alliances, break a ton of rules, and completely change the dynamic of their MC. Hawk takes those things to the next level with additional shakeup within their Club, several attempted murders, a kidnapping, betrayal, a hard earned love story HEA, a bunch of surprises, and one heck of a set up for the power couple... er couples!?... for book #3. Kaleb and Suzi have been fighting their attraction for one another for over 10 years and there are some heavy duty secrets and half truths that make their relationship beyond tension filled. Because of this, their interaction in the book is both hard to take and an utter relief when they finally figure things out. LOL You will feel just about every emotion for them and it's most certainly a sexy 'me Tarzan you Jane' adventure. Hawk, SONS OF SANGUE #2 is an intense, action-packed roller-coaster ride, and you will learn much more about some of the other Sons and supporting characters. I am REALLY curious to see how Patricia spins the next tale given the crazy circumstances of the newest 'mate' and the introduction of the new character(s). SONS OF SANGUE is highly recommended to Paranormal Romance readers who like their heroes Alpha, their heroines able to hold their own yet willingly submit to the sexy bad boys, and plenty of MC territorial action and intrigue.
