I breathed deep, like I always did before a race, filling my nose with the smell of chlorine. The Sharks were about to see that this pond scum could swim.

Bram is a swimmer, hoping to make the school team and become a Shark. He puts up with the stupid pranks the hopefuls are forced to endure but gets warned by a friend to stay away the initiation party. The next day, the friend is seriously injured and Bram begins to wonder if something sinister is afoot, related to the death of a swimmer several years ago. His investigation puts himself and others in danger. A great addition to the Orca Sports series for reluctant readers.
