About the Author
Mandy was born and raised in Norristown, Pennsylvania and is the second of five children born to Robert and Juliana Beyer. She graduated from Norristown Area High School in 1979 and went directly into the work force, working primarily in administrative roles. For the last 24 years, she has been employed by Abington Memorial Hospital, currently working as the Secretary of Rehabilitation Services at Abington-Lansdale Hospital. Mandy married Michael Karns in May of 1983 and settled in the Willow Grove, Pennsylvania area, where they raised their three children. She enjoys traveling, reading and watercolor painting. Mandy and Mike currently live in Hatboro, Pennsylvania and love spending time with their children and grandchildren. This is the author's first book.
