Going through rough times with recent deaths of family and friends, I was questioning my faith in God. This book helped to bring God back into my life. Max re-creates real-life situations that unfold into biblical 'themes and stories'. He gently reminded me that I am not the only one struggling over loss. Giving this book to friends still in search of God has given me an opportunity to move the stones that may be blocking their view of God.

Out of all Max Lucado books I really loved this one the best so far. If you are going through some differcult times especially with your spiritually life so many of these stories that he tells in this book helps you to understand that God is still right there with you through all your troubles. He brings stories to life like I have never thought about before. By the time I got done with this book I was crying so hard. God does still move stones in our life.

I read this book and opened my eyes for good. I have bought it for others and read the first chapter to them. The first chapter to me is life changing. One of the people I bought it for, was battling cancer. It didnt serve as a cane to lean on, but a staff with which God used to ttansform, walk firmly, battle, part obsicles and through with victory. Ill be honest and say out of the countless times I have picked it up, I have yet to finish it, cause I am still in awe that first chapter does in so many lives. Even if I never get a chance to finish it, the power to alter lives, the first chapter has, its worth the money. Be blrssed!

This book--classic Max Lucado--continues to give me encouragement during dark or difficult times in my life and inspiration during good times. My recent purchase was a gift for my son who is a recent college graduate moving to a new city for a new job. I highly recommend this as a reminder that God does, indeed, still move stones.

This was the first book of Max Lucado's that I ever read. I was so moved that I gave it out as gifts. I have to admit I am hooked. I'm reading Just Like Jesus now and can't wait to finish so I can start another one.
