About the Author

For 25 years, the highly individualized treatment at Robbins Headache Clinic in Northbrook, Illinois, has brought relief to many patients whose headaches had resisted all prior treatment. Patients receive care from Dr. Robbins and Nurse Practitioner Brooke Bassett, NP-C.

Dr. Robbins, a neurologist, repeatedly has been chosen as one of America’s Top Doctors. He received the 2008 Janet Travell Clinical Pain Management Award, given to one physician per year by the American Academy of Pain Management.

He was assistant professor of neurology at Rush Medical College from 1992-2011. He holds the title of Master Psychopharmacologist and Master Clinician through the Neuroscience Education Institute and has completed 225 hours of continuous education in psychopharmacology.

Dr. Robbins has written three books and more than 200 articles and abstracts. He writes educational blog posts on the website for the Robbins Headache Clinic.
