Finally, a book on grief, stress, and loss that address the entire BODY and reminds us that taking care of ourselves is paramount to how we process difficult times. Healthy Healing does a fantastic job of not only explaining why we need fitness but how to start your health journey. Michelle and her fitness programs have helped hundreds of thousands of people, and her nonprofit helps the widowed community come back to life after loss. Kudos for taking her loss and making the world a better place.
Excellent read. The author speaks from the heart and helps the reader explore grief from a physical and healing perspective. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to work through their pain using the given gift of our bodies. Michelle Steinke is a change maker for the widowed community.
This is a fantastic book full of positive steps to help you move forward after any loss. This is not just about death from grief; it's about the many losses we work through in a lifetime. The author does a fantastic job of laying out productive and decisive steps to help the reader make a path forward. Highly recommended.
This is an excellent book for anyone who's grieving - whether or not you feel that you can make steps forward today or not yet. By putting these positive ideas in your head, Michelle has provided the reader a foundation for the work that is to come. There were painful truths in this book, the kind that resonate for many of us, but it was also a very uplifting and positive book; powerful motivation to find what lies within. You learn so much through loss and this is exactly the kind of book that helps uncover these discoveries. The book includes personal and moving stories but also extensive and simply laid out healthy habits for taking your power back. Her message isn't about moving on, it's about moving forward. Highly recommended for the grieving and those who love them.
There is so much "whoa is me" in this book. I couldn't even get through the first chapter. She boasts of her high profile career and what she gave up when her husband died. She encourages people to buy into her 1FW club which is expensive to begin with. She preys on the vulnerable and is making a lot of money exploiting grief. I feel badly for her new husband who married into this mess. He has to listen to LIVE THE LIST and SAY THEIR NAME every single day. It's like he doesn't exist. Too much for me. NO thank you.
