Healthy-Licious is an empowering guide on how you can transform your life on the basis of self-compassion. This book is an invitation to let go of destructive behaviours such as restrictive or emotional eating, yo-yo dieting, self-shaming, or punishing yourself with exercise. At the same time, it is an encouragement to fill your life with acts of self-nurture. The book offers many tips on how to beautify your body from the inside out with delicious wholefoods and feel-good movement, how to bring clarity to all your food confusion, understand your cravings better and distinguish between the different forms of hungers.
Ruth openly shares her own health and life challenges to inspire you to overcome your own. She has survived a brain aneurysm which equipped her with a deep understanding of the body’s innate capacity to heal itself. She has also experienced the destructive toll of dieting and now knows that the only way to fall in love with your body is by nurturing it with care and mindfulness.
Filled with Ruth’s loving and positive outlook, easy and delicious recipes, fun exercises and inviting self-care tips, this book guides and supports you to discover a whole new YOU.
