Kudos to Gilbert Morris for writing such a book that is so relevent in today's times. The whole time I was reading this book, I could relate what Noah was going through with that of my fellow borthers and sisters in Christ. I was amazed that the same issues Noah dealt with, we are dealing with right now in America. This book is so vivid and colorful, you feel as if you are there. My heart broke as Noah was mocked and scorned, and I was joyful when he triumphed. This book and the others in the series are true winners.

Very well written. I enjoyed the story of Noah & his family; who lived around 5,000 years ago. I enjoy the writers who tell their tales of biblical fiction with non fiction twist on story. Thank Mr Gilbert Morris! I hope to read all in the Lion of Judah series!

The Heart of a Lion was excelent. It is the story of Noah, from the Bible. It is a fast paced story, starting with Noah as a child and ending with his death at the age of 950. Lots of fictional adventures, love interests, and other exciting things happen in those years, however the basic story from Genesis appears very accurate. Ypu don't have to know the Bible or even believe in it to enjoy this book. The author, Gilbert Morris, writes an exciting story and even better is that this is the 1st in a series. I just ordered #2 and #3 which I expect will be just as exciting.

I loved the insight into Noahs life before the flood. Loved the way God led him to his path of life past many weakness's he exhibited. The story of his faith and the showing of how easy it was for the people around him to fall into sin shows why God chose him. Though he came near sin many times he kept his faith. All the years it took to build the ark was demonstrated greatly by the gopher wood tree that grew to maturity during its construction. I can't wait to read the next one.
