I Loved it... can't believe the bad reviews.

I can't believe all the Negtive reviews. I thought the book was great one of the best book she has written. I like how she wasn't afraid to write a Sci Fi book.IT was a brave move. I think it's great to think there might be something more out there than just empty space. I would love to have a man like Dalden in my life. He was sweet to the Character of Brittney.. So I really enjoyed this book and I don't think she staryed away from her writing formula.

Since I really enjoyed the 1st two books in this series, I was really hopeful about this one but it was so awful I could barely finish it. The story was more about the computer Martha then the characters. And frankly, Dalden was only 21?? while the herione was 28 although she acted like a teenaged doofus the whole time. And from reading the previous novels, I find it hard to believe that Challen would've let his wife and children fly to Krystan and stay there nearly 6 months without him? And Shanelle was supposed to be pregnant at the end of her novel, which was hardly before the beginning of THIS one, so where is the baby? Seriously, this was just a lame book which COULD have been so much better - the plot was weak, the characters were weak, the dialogue was weak... etc etc. READ it if you must but it's not a keeper!

I'm a real avid reader and this is one of my favorite authors. This book moved, gave me tingles and I chuckled at times. Very entertaining. A definite must read. A true Lindsey novel, well worth reading.

OKAY WHAT HAPPENED? I love Johanna Lindsey's books but this one was bad. the way Brittany kept thinking that everythng was fake after they showed her different devices and she still didn't believe them and it was just a poor book for me . This is a book that will not be going into my personal Library. I cant wait for her next book though !

I wish this series would continue. I love her vision of another world.

I wont say it was bad like the other reviewers, it just wasnt as good as some of JL's other novels. She still is a great author and I love her books even if they arent so good. Brittany in this book was a little annoying to me, but then again I probably would have reacted the same way...not believing anything. It was still interesting regardless.

I am normally a sci fi/fantasy reader and have recently broadened my scope to include some other types of books. I was pleasently surprised when I came across this one. Having not read the other novels of this series, I found myself a little confused in the beginning as to what was happening (identifying a little with the main character). However, once I got into the book (which didn't take long!!) I was thouroughly engrossed and found that it only took me one day to finish it! It was a jumping off point, and got me to reading her other novels (which I hightly recommend!).

I have always loved Johanna Lindsey, but my favorite series is the one featuring the Ly-San-Ter family. I have read Heart of a Warrior twice and enjoyed it even more the second time around! My only, tiny, critism is that it took Brittany so long to admit what was happening. Other than that, it was first rate!

I enjoyed a chance to see these characters again, but I was disappointed in the story. There was too much of long-winded explanations, and too little character development. I really didn't care about what happened to these characters, except for the nostalgia angle. I don't think the author's heart was in this one.

It was good and entertained. Just one thing, it was too predictable.

Lindsey combines the best of romance with the best of SciFi in this novel.  The multiple, well developed worlds presented in this novel, as well as their interactions, were quite intriguing.  I was completely enchanted.  Because I haven’t read the 1st two books in the series it took me a bit to catch up on the background but then I was hooked.  That said, I’ll definitely be reading (and re-reading) the entire series.  Lindsey’s eloquent writing alongside the picturesque descriptions brings everything to light in a very brilliant manner. Readers get to spend some time with absolutely unforgettable characters in this novel.  The main characters are so honest and heartfelt that you can’t help but love them.  I also found myself laughing at the situations they found themselves in.  You can’t help but wonder just how everything will work out for them.  Surrounded by the multicultural group of secondary character, you get a taste of what life must be like for everyone.  It was absolutely breathtaking. My final thoughts?  He may not be perfect, but I definitely need a warrior life mate of my own.

Defnitely her worst!  I really enjoy reading Johanna Lindsey's books, but this one was a big bomb.   I enjoyed the 1st two books in this series, but this story lacked  an interesting plot.  It mainly featured Martha and Brittany's conversations and Brittany's unwillingness to believe in aliens.   Her character was weak--almost "whiny".    I could barely finish the book.   In fact, it took me over a week reading bits here and there instead of the usual all-nighter I experience with Lindsey's other books.  I suppose if you had absolutely nothing else to do, you might read this book, but there are so much better ones out there.

I absolutely adore this author, but THIS genre of storyline is definitely NOT her forte! It took me forever to finally get thru it, even skipping/skimming parts just to finish quicker. The book was more about the computer and Brittany was just immature, she's not even worthy to be a heroine.

So Brittany is a hard working woman who has two jobs, made a name for herself in construction, has lived with a roommate for three years ... and then gets on a space ship and doesn't think about her family, friend, dreams, bank account, job etc... but gets caught in a web of self denial but the guy is cute? Painful

This book was good, but I agree with many of the comments here. It took Brittany way to long to be convinced of the truth. After a while, it was just more ridiculous to believe the elaborate plot that they were putting her through than to believe the truth. That was just taking it past stubborness and into stupidity. Then again, I would be hard pressed to believe that I had been abducted by aliens. Also, I do like that she gave the backround of the other two novels, but it was both too much and not enough. There was way too much that was explained from the the other two warrior novels in the begginning. JL pretty much retold both stories, but neglected to mention the baby. Then there was only one more thing I felt was lacking in the book. Brittany was supposed to be this independent woman from another world with a family of her own. However, she spends most of the novel clinging annoying onto Dalden, and not caring much about the family she leaves behind. Sure they make plans to visit, but it would be a long time before they do. Even though she's not in constant contact with her family wouldn't her abandoned roomate contact them when Brittany goes missing? Other than that, this was a good book.
