As a war wages between the immortals of Atlantis and those of the vampire realm, a Poseidon warrior fights to save his world—and the woman he loves. And no risk is too great.

The desires of a high priest.

Alaric, Poseidon’s High Priest, has made a vow to Quinn, the woman he loves and the leader of the Resistance: to save her friend Jack before his last bit of humanity has been drained. Should Alaric succeed, there’s one intimate danger: he may lose Quinn to the love of the man whose life he saved. But damn Atlantis to the nine hells, he’s willing to put Quinn’s wishes first, regardless of the consequences.

The warning of a threat reborn.

The final jewel of Poseidon’s trident has turned up in the hands of mysterious Ptolemy Reborn, who claims to be descended from Atlantean royalty. He’s about to reveal to the world that Atlantis is real, positioning himself as king. But this magical terrorist is bent on chaos. The only warrior who can stop him is following his own path, driven by the even more powerful force of love. Atlantean powers over the sea could prove just as cataclysmic—for Quinn’s love, Alaric might drown the entire world.

This book brought back everyone from the previous books and short stories, and was a fitting end to a great story arch. It is the last full length novel in the Warriors of Poseidon series (unless maybe we’ll get some books set in the future when young Prince Aidan is grown???), and I am sad to see it end. Ms. Day promises a short story or two to wrap up some loose ends, and a non-Atlantean character is actually getting a spin off series. I love her writing, and look forward to anything she has coming out in the future. If you like paranormal romance I highly recommend this series. Alaric and Quinn's story is so romantic. This entire series is a wonderful read. All of the warriors are strong and stunning. I will definetly re-read this again. For strong men dealing with strong women this is a sexy series and must read. Hopefully the author will put another series out that deals with Poisiden and the children. I would recommend reading this book if you've read the others. I'm pretty sure you might like Alaric and it's always nice to bring back characters from the past!

Finally it has arrived, and once i picked it up, I couldn't put it down! For me, it certainly was anything but slow! The only thing is that now that Ms. Day has written Alaric's story, will she continue to erite more about Atlantis? I do hope so. I would hope to read Jack's story at least.

When you read a series often there is a character that sticks with you, while waiting for his/her book the anticipation builds. Alaric was one such character for me, as we all know sometimes their story does not meet expectations. I am happy to say this time IT IS A GREAT STORY!!!!!

I have really enjoyed this series. I was a little disappointed in this last one. It seemed to drag a little in spots. Overall it did answer the question of the priest and his love. I can only assume that we will see another one answering the question of What about Jack and what is next for Atlantis? It leaves you wanting the next story. I would still recommend it if you have been reading the series.

I have read all of the Warriors of Poseidon books and I must say this was an excellent end to the series. I waited so long for Alaric's book and the wait was well worth it. The suspense. The action. The intrigue. I couldn't put it down once I started reading. Another great read from Alyssa Day. I totally recommend this and all the other Warriors of Poseidon books.
