Jesuit priest Pierre Teilard de Chardin,s writings were supressed during his lifetime, but now his unique insights have enjoyed a resurgent popularity. Undeniably complex, Teilard's insights into the relationship between christianity and science have aquired extraodinary relevance with the advent of global communications and the internet. The Heart Of Matter details Teilard's poignant autobiographical reminiscences concerning his spiritual and intellectual evolution. If you are familiar with Teilard's other books,or have read about his philosophies elsewhere, The Heart Of Matter will enhance your insight into the mind and works of this visionary christian author.
