The Hellions motorcycle club is a commitment for life, one Ruben "Ruby" Castillo believes in.

His wife, Jenna "Vida" Natera de Castillo, has given her life to being his ol' lady and the mother to their three children. She takes her commitment to her man seriously.

People change, and over time, passion can fizzle. Life for Jenna falls apart the day Ruby no longer says I do.

Keeping the fires burning in a marriage is hard. Will the chaos of the club bring them back together, or is it what pulls them further apart? Will these two find the flame again? Will their love find a new spark on their heated ride through life?

Contains mature themes.

Jenna and Ruby have been together and married for years and have 3 children together. Ruby has decided that the spark is no longer there in his marriage and takes action knowing that he is causing Jenna pain but doesn't see any way around it. Jenna is juggling a job, 3 kids and a demanding biker and is at a loss as to what more she can do. While she realizes that the spark is gone in their marriage she knows it's not just her. Ruby falls into the "grass is greener on the other side" syndrome and almost costs himself his whole life. Ruby does finally start to get his head on straight and see that he was partly responsible for not keeping their love burning but Jenna is already moving past him. She begins to rebuild her life and wants nothing to do with someone who would devastate her the way he did. Jenna does take responsibility for some of their marriage woes but also doesn't let Ruby getting away without acknowledging his part in it. Ruby realizes that he needs to fight for his family and to get Jenna back but knows it won't be easy. Jenna faces a life-threatening situation and realizes that life is short. She had a great backbone once she started putting some of her needs and wants first and wasn't just a doormat to her husband and children. It was nicely done and didn't just fluff over their problems.

I am not normally a fan of "real life" books, i like the adventures, the characters, the action, and ultimately the "happy ever after". I also love series that bring back old characters so i get updates as to what is going on with them, but real life, its not something i normally seek out. In saying all of this, this book is REAL, its a marriage that is strong, stable and loving, but its also real. Life gets hard, marriage gets hard, staying in love rather than just loving the other person is beyond hard at times, but getting through the hard times is what its all about, learning that you can find that "fire" again is something all too many of us give up on. This is by far my most favorite book in the series and so well written and heartwarming i couldnt put it down. Five stars for making "real life" better than any fuzzy quick romance could ever be.

5 star I was pulled right into this story. This story contains heartbreak, pain, secrets, and sweet healing love. If you have not already read the below I recommend reading them first: One Ride (The Hellions Ride, #1) Forever Ride (The Hellions Ride, #2) Merciless Ride (The Hellions Ride #3) Eternal Ride (The Hellions Ride #4) Innocent Ride (The Hellions Ride #5) Simple Ride (The Hellions Ride #6) This is Jenna ‘Vida’ Natera de Castillo and Ruben ‘Ruby’ Castillo’s story. Ruby and Vida have been together forever. They are married with children. What happens when the spark is gone? Will they fight for their marriage or will it be all over? Can they fall in love again or is the love gone? What happens when you say something you wish you could take back? Will you get the chance to prove your love or will you be shut out? Can Ruby and Vida rekindle there love and marriage or is this the end? What happens when your life revolves around your man and the MC will you have to give everything up if you are no longer together? When Vida is put into danger will Ruby be able to get her back? Or is she really gone forever? I highly recommend this story and this series. Can’t wait to see what this author has in store for us next.

Heated Ride is by far my favorite book in the Hellions MC series by Chelsea Camaron. I couldn't put it down and to be honest have reread it three times now. The story of Ruby and Jenna's marriage hits way too close to home. Its honest and raw to the bone as we watch the marriage between these two fade, due to the humdrum routine they are stuck in. Sometimes a break is just what they needed in order to find their way back to each other and to realize the fire between them was never truly out, it just needed some fanning to spread the flames. Camaron writes with such passion and intensity in every book, that the wait for the next ride will surely be worth it.

I have read the entire Hellions Ride series, that is not right… I have devoured this series. Heated Ride is no exception. The thing that was different is how much I could relate to Jenna and Ruby’s marriage. It is scary how realistic Chelsea Camaron wrote this book. It is so easy to just be married and let life roll past you. Jenna and Ruby have let that happen. Then all of a sudden they have realized that they have lost themselves and each other. I know, it sounds depressing. It isn’t. The story is how they work through their own doubts to come back to each other. While the motorcycle club aspect of this series is an unknown to me, the men and women who are found within these pages are realistic. They are tough with personal issues yet they fall in love with their entire souls. Ruby and Jenna (Vida) definitely have overcome a rough history. Friends since they were little and in Mexico they have made a good life in the United States legally, falling in love and raising a wonderful family. They are happy and in love, until they aren’t. This is the story of human nature and being married. It is the story of two people who truly love each other losing themselves and having to find a way to come back together. It is not easy to read about. A marriage falling apart never is easy, especially when kids are involved. Yet, I found this an inspiring story. Heated Ride is not the typical MC book. It is a book with lots of heart. I recommend this series, which can be read in any order or as a stand-a-lone book.
