Overview

'Hell in a Storm' is the first book of the 'Demon Siege Trilogy'.

The King of Mazwar is possessed by the High Demon, Shirakhul, and has initiated the darkest of curses. The existence of the human race is threatened and its only hope is in the disappearance of the king’s youngest daughter.
Forbidden to take on a physical form, the angels turn to a few battled hardened men. These warriors will need to find the young woman before Shirakhul can lay his hands on her. Whatever the cost, they must keep the Demon King from completing the ritual.
The hope of mankind now rests in the hands of a few warriors. Finding the girl will be dangerous. Keeping her safe from the Demon Lord is another matter all together.

Meet the Author

Born and raised in Michigan, I have struggled to survive in the unstable field of automotive design and have seen my career, as well as my life, start from scratch more often than any man should. I was married in 2003 and that will always be the best day of my life. I have been a life long Detroit Lions fan and am the owner of Michigan Spider, a blog about the spiders we find in Michigan. In 2003, along with getting married, I learned I had a love for writing fantasy that equaled my love for reading it. I have never dealt with writers block and I do not believe I ever will, for I have more trouble shutting my imagination down, to sleep at night, than I have prodding it back to life again.

I loved this story!!! It totally gripped me and even made me cry a couple of times. If you like Robert Jordan and Terry Goodkind, then you will love this.

I loved the way the author added religion into the story. Amazing amount of detail was put in and you can visualize what is happening as if you are there perfectly. The only thing i would recomend changing is how the author transitions each characters piont if view. I had to read the first few pages over a few times before i figured out it was seperate views. Ovet al i love it and i can wait to get reading the next one!

I would just like others to know that Hell in a Storm has been re-edited. I do hope you will find it a much smoother read now. :o) Note* -- I tried to not give it a star rating. Since it forces me to, and my book is currently averaging slightly higher than 4 stars, I am giving it a 4 star to be fair. Personally I thinks its a 5 star but I also know I am biased.
