Sarina Bowen is a very talented author and her MM books are up there amongst the best. This love story captivated me, it drew me in from the first page and I wasn't putting it down until I had read the final line, I had to know did Axel and Cax get their HEA.... Wow what a beautifully written love story. Sarina Bowen has fast become a go to author for me not only with her solo work but with the books she writes in partnership with Elle Kennedy. Loved this book so much not sure I have the words to do it justice. If MM is your genre you do need to one click this book.

Great read. It gives an insight if how small minded people can't deal with homosexuality. I laughed throughout the entire book.

Absolutely devoured these two books! Axel and Henry Caxton 'Cax' Williams met at church retreats when they were eight years old and became best friends. Eight years later their first make-out session was interrupted by the pastor who called their parents. Axel's mother thought it was hysterical, Cax's father was incandescent and Axel never saw or heard from him again. Six years later and Axel has been offered a job in sports marketing at Barmuth University in Henning, Massachusetts. He is on the fence because it is a small college and a long way from home, he watches a home match on YouTube and randomly spots Cax in the crowd, suddenly the job offer seems tempting. As an aside, Axel rents an apartment from Josh and Caleb who have moved to Henning so that Josh can attend college. Cax is a Phd student at Barmuth, he returned home to Henning in order to try to shield his three younger brothers from their corrosive and sometimes violent father. Cax's father loathes the fact that Cax is gay and has made it a condition of Cax seeing his brothers that he not bring any of 'that stuff' around the boys. Unfortunately, Cax's father is employed by Barmuth College so in effect it means he can't date or even go to gay bars for fear someone will mention it to his dad. For four years he and his best friend Amy have been 'dating' in order to hide the truth from his dad. This is a story of how true love can conquer all, how self-sacrifice and perseverance can bring their own rewards and how people should just let people be with who they want. You'll cry for Cax, you'll cheer for Axel, you'll boo at Cax's dad and you'll smile at seeing Josh and Caleb again. Another winner.

Read this book in one sitting and I regret nothing! Sarina Bowen always manages to capture my attention from the first moment I start reading her books and her characters stay with me long after I finish it and Hello Forever was no exception. Axl and Cax were friends growing up, they met at a church camp every summer and as they got older their feelings towards one another morph into something more than friendship, however circumstances separated them and now years later they are reunited once more and they find out that the feelings they once shared are still very much present. Axl was so carefree, he loved doing his job and was open to new friendships and experiences and I think that’s way Cax was so attracted to him, because at least in that way they weren’t really similar. Cax is forced to hide who he really is in order to protect his brothers so we see him struggle a lot with wanting to live a life with the man he loves and at the same time be able to still have a relationship with the family that he loves. There were plenty of sexy moments in this book as well as tender and lovely moments but Sarina also wrote some gut wrenching scenes that are probably going to leave you quite raw like they did me and I’m glad she did because she didn’t shy away from some ugly moments that I’m sure happen every day to someone in this world and that is absolutely not okay. I loved this story so much, both Axl and Cax are complex characters and we get to see them overcome so many difficulties and roadblocks to be together and to finally start planning a future.

The leads were besties for years. They participated in church events which got them together regularly. After crossing the line into more than just friends, they were caught and had no interaction for years. Now both have just graduated and end up working at the same college. One is a TA graduate student and one does press for the athletic department. Seems like a perfect way to pick back up. The problem is that one of the guys has some family baggage and issues getting in the way. They will have to be willing to go through a lot to be together. Hello Forever is a sad yet sweet story. It's about two boys becoming men and finding what they want in life. Fans of new adult romance, second chance romance or sports romance might want to check it out.
