About the Author
In 1985 Annette established her own private practice as an educational consultant working with children, parents, and teachers dealing with learning disabilities and attention deficit disorder. As executive director of Diagnostic and Educational Resources, Inc. Annette provided a full range of services including psycho-educational testing, remedial tutoring, parent and teacher workshops, and speaking engagements at national conferences on best practices in reading and writing for students with learning challenges.
Annette and her husband moved from their home in Falls Church, Virginia, where they lived for forty years, and in 2009 drove across country to San Francisco to be close to their two daughters and grandchildren. This new chapter of their lives is filled with much joy and contentment,
