Nice sample of light romantic fantasy about a professional woman facing the challenges of life. Includes an interesting selection of the author's poetry.

She had me at hello. The novel keep me fascinated from the beginning to end. It has an interesting story line, Chloe, the main character, is a woman following her destiny, reading the signs along the way and making choices. The book takes you from Chloe's musical early years to her college years in Washington DC in her 'quest for power' then on to Paris France where she studies medicine. It delves into her complex nature, as she competes in a man's world yet tries to maintain her femininity. The novel is more than romance, there are lessons to be learned and many teachable moments with fascinating information regarding art, architecture and science. At the end of the novel, we are treated to poetry that caps off the novel. My favorite one is entitled 'Success' She states 'Set your own goals and your success is commensurate to your achievements' Another poem related to Choices states 'The freedom of choices, you can either follow or lead but always move forward. Each experience is like a new plant, to be nurtured so it will blossom. I am looking forward to the next novel by this author. I expect great things from her.
