Hayley never wants to get married. She's a successful divorce lawyer, but after a disastrous interview about men her bosses think some damage control should be done. She comes across as hateful and heartless in a magazine article and that isn't the kind of publicity they can use. To convince them she isn't just harsh and cold she lets her bosses believe she will bring her fiancé to a business retreat in Maui. There's only one small issue, she isn't seeing anyone. Chase's sister is a wedding planner. She's a big believer of true love and thinks that's exactly what her brother needs, so whenever they meet she's trying to set him up. She's chosen Maui as her wedding location, as she has fond memories of the island. Chase doesn't want to be the victim of another one of his sister's matchmaking schemes. When he meets Hayley on the plane on his way to Maui and finds out about her problem he's offering her a deal that will be beneficial to both of them. He will play Hayley's fiancé and she will be his date for the wedding. It's a perfect arrangement, but what will happen when their time together starts to feel real instead of fake? Her Holiday Fling is a sexy feel good story. Hayley is independent, sharp, smart and determined. She sometimes speaks before she thinks and that often gets her in trouble. The situations she lands herself in are pretty funny and her personality constantly made me smile. When she's dug a hole for herself she also needs to find a way to climb out again and she has a creative way of doing that. She needs someone to impress her bosses and Chase is her savior. He's a heroic policeman and he's always there to help people out. There's only one area he doesn't excel in and that is relationships. He's a gentle and generous man and a lot of women like him a lot, but he doesn't want to get married. His job is dangerous and not many people can handle that, which is why he never lets anyone come close again. When he meets Hayley he instantly likes her and their chemistry is amazing. They are both adamant they don't want to get married, but fall very much in love. I couldn't wait to find out where that would lead and flew through the pages of this hot sunny book. Jennifer Snow has written a wonderful story that can easily be read in one sitting. Her writing sparkles and her vivid descriptions make both the island and her main characters come to life really well. I loved the romantic setting with the beautiful sea and waterfalls. It's an ideal place to fall in love and I liked the idea of two people who are overwhelmed by it because they are looking for something completely different in life. Chase's job and everything he's been through bring some great extra depth. Together with the light and cheerful nature of the rest of the story this creates a good balance. Her Holiday Fling is fun, flirty and sensual, it's a lovely uplifting read.

After an unsavory interview with a local magazine paints divorce lawyer Hayley Hanna as a man hater who doesn't believe in marriage, the firm she works for begins to have concerns about the image she is putting out there. They want to be known as a family friendly firm, and having someone like her on staff doesn't exactly represent that, so they voice their concerns to her, and she promises them that it was just a bad interview on her part, and that she actually has a fiance and is happily in love and on her way down the aisle... problem is she sent her fiance packing a few months ago. Now she is left scrambling to find a fake fiance to step in and attend the company retreat with her, and show her co-workers the article was a farce, otherwise she may find herself looking for a new job! But the men aren't exactly banging down her door, so she decides to attend the retreat alone, admit defeat and take the punishment given...that is until her handsome seatmate on the plane offers up his services! The instant Chase Hartley sits down beside Hayley Hanna he feels the sparks arching between them, she is gorgeous, smart and just the right amount of sassy and he wants to know everything there is to know about her... but she isn't ready to fall under his spell. He can tell there is something bothering her, so after some weaseling he finds outs that she is in need of saving, she needs a fake fiance in order to keep her job, and with very little thought he offers up his services. He makes her a deal she can't refuse, a deal that is certain to benefit both of them, neither one of them are looking for love or a relationship, so keeping feelings out of their little relationship should be easy... right? This enticing little tale captured my attention from the first page, and held on tight right up and until the last... it was SO damn good, I devoured it in one sitting!! These two thought they were the perfect accomplices, their aim was to fool those around them into thinking they'd found love, but what started off as a ruse quickly became something else... something neither of them wanted or expected, and it made for one hell of a story! If you like your heroes in blue, full of confidence and sex appeal then I highly suggest you meet Mr. Chase Hartley, he's sure to swoop in and steal your heart, and have you blushing the whole way through! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this title.

RATING 4.5 STARS Her Holiday Fling is by Jennifer Snow and is part of the Harlequin Blaze line. Hayley Hanna is a divorce attorney in Los Angeles. Hayley’s job and her family history has hardened her towards the concept of forever love. She doesn’t believe in marriage or Happily Ever Afters. But, she made the mistake of letting her opinions be known in a magazine article which portrayed her as a man eating shark. Her bosses at Marshall and Thompson Family Law don’t like the way this makes their firm look in the public eye. She and her co-workers are scheduled to participate in a one week company retreat in Maui for team building. Her bosses tell her that they want to meet her fiancé. That they want her to bring him and convince them that she has a softer side. The problem is, Hayley is single. But she didn’t divulge that little detail to them. Chase Hartley is a cop who lives for his job. He had his heart broken once before and is now convinced that relationships and dangerous careers don’t mix. How could he fall in love with someone when there is always the risk that at any time he could be hurt or killed? He couldn’t do that to someone. So he has accepted that he will forever be single. Chase and Hayley meet on the plane to Maui. Chase is on the way to his sister’s destination wedding. His sister is forever trying to match Chase up and he is dreading the line up she will have planned for him this time. Could Chase and Hayley help each other out? Chase could be her stand in fake fiancé and Hayley could be Chase’s date for the week at all the wedding festivities keeping all the other single women away. This is a win/win. Except that the chemistry between these two is crazy strong. Add in the beautiful romantic setting and it doesn’t take long for the lines to blur between fake and real. “With one quick kiss, this noncomplicated plan had just gotten complicated.” “The simple touches, the kisses on the cheek, the holding hands all evening, had her craving more. More of something she knew she shouldn’t be wanting.” Not only do their feelings for each other grow, but Hayley really likes Chase’s family and feels bad for deceiving them. Little by little, the walls around her heart crumble. Could it be possible that her feelings for Chase are real? That maybe they could continue their relationship once they were back home? “Why did it take a fake fiancé, in an impossible, dead-end situation to make her feel something? Something she wanted desperately to explore, despite the inevitable outcome. Was she really that twisted?” “Now was not the time to start believing in love when the first time she’d ever felt it, it had all been meant as a lie.” This was such a good book. I loved Chase and Hayley. And the hotness factor was smokin. But these two commitment phobes have terrible timing and just can’t seem to escape their doubts. I absolutely loved the ending, it was perfect. Jennifer Snow is one of my favorite authors. I love that she has taken the plunge and is writing for Blaze. I loved this book and hope you will too.

Opportunity and fairly innocent deception leads the plot in Jennifer Snow's upcoming Harlequin Blaze novel. It's sassy and fun, steamy and sweet and overall just has you wanting them to admit they are feeling something already! Looking forward to Kate's story coming soon! Divorce attorney Hayley Hanna really put her foot in her mouth this time! What was she thinking agreeing to bring her fiance along on the corporate retreat in Maui?? She doesn't even HAVE a fiance! She needs this retreat to go perfectly so she can convince her bosses that she's not the man hating shark they think she is. LAPD cop Chase Hartley is not looking forward to his sister matching him up with all of her single friends when he attends her wedding in Hawaii. He just wants to get there, get it over with and get back to what he loves ... working! Hayley and Chase meet on the plane to Hawaii and come up with the big plan of deception to make everyone think they are a couple. Will the sparks that actually fly hard between the two of them lead to more than just a casual hookup during their time spent together?

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! I LOVE Jennifer's dialogue and her characters' thoughts. It's believable. It's something I would say or think were I in a situation like Hayley was (ok, except Hayley is way nicer than I am...) I LOVE Jennifer's characters. They're realistic and relatable. They act like real people do, which, to me, makes her contemporary romances that much more enjoyable. I LOVE Chase. Oh my gosh. You will dump your current book boyfriend for Chase Hartley. He reminded me of Top Gun Tom Cruise, if that's a helpful parallel ;) This story was different than any I had read in that Hayley and Chase weren't really looking for a happily-ever-after (or were they?!), but rather they were content with their status quo...until said status quo involved some smokin' hot Hawaiian nights... It's one of those books that could easily be made into a blockbuster movie. I couldn't put this beautiful story down, and I'm looking forward to MANY more books from Jennifer! (I received a copy of this book in consideration of an honest review)
