Her Keepers by Hazel Gower

On an American holiday with her best friend, Karen never dreamed she would meet not one, but two hunky men, who are convinced they are polar bears and she’s their mate. Brad and Duncan are two-hundred-year-old polar bear shifters. They are Peacekeepers, created by the gods to keep the peace between paranormal beings. They’re stronger, they heal faster, and all their senses are better than any other paranormal being, to help them keep the peace. But Peacekeeping is a dangerous job, so to help lessen the dangers, they work in pairs and mate in triads. Duncan and Brad have just found their mate, Karen. Now all they have to do is convince her to stay with them and keep her safe. Will Duncan and Brad be able to convince Karen to stay, or will having two men be too much, sending her running back to her homeland?

About the Author

I'm a mother of four terrors between the ages of four and nine. I started writing down my story ideas in high school, and never really stopped. Writing, I have to say, is my salvation. After I've gotten all the kids in bed and have cleaned up, I sit at my computer or sometimes a notebook with a pencil and relax, write, and escape. I love to hear from any of my readers, so feel free to send me an email and like me on Facebook.

Karen's friend suffered a bad break up so she ended up quiting her job to take her friend on a holiday. During this holiday they go to stay somewhere where they are guaranteed to see Polar Bears. As soon as Karen gets out of the car though she is set upon by a big hunk of a man and even though she wants to push the guy away she finds she can't. For some reason she just wants to pull him closer. Then when he is joined by another guy and she seems to want him too she knows something is wrong. She ends up promising Brad and Duncan that she will stay for a couple days and give it a try. Brad and Duncan are polar bear shifters and peacekeepers. Their kind was created by the Gods to keep peace between other Paranormals. When they take a mate they will have to share one so that if something happens to one the other is still there protect her. They have waited a long time to find their mate so when she shows up they cannot control themselves. Their bears want out and they want to claim their mate. What will they do when Karen angers a werewolf shifter and he decides to retaliate. And how will they convince her to stay? My opinion: I LOVE Hazel's books and this one is no different. Hazel never disappoints when it comes to a great story Hot Alpha Men and Hot sex. I Love Brad and Duncan they both have very different demeanors but they both seem to compliment Karen well. Karen is an independent woman so she needs to learn how to keep that aspect of herself while being with such dominant protective men. This is a short story but it is definitely worth the read. I highly recommend it. ' Read and Reviewed by LSK Sweetheart Reviews '

This is my first time reading this author and it will be my last. Story jumps around to much and never seems complete. Plus,am so tried of pay a lot for books that are 61 pages. Would not recommend.

This book was too painful to even finish, and it is only 61 pages. I think a 14 y.o. wrote it. I had to give it 1 star for the review to post, otherwise I would have given it a 0.

Seriously...when a sample is only 7 pages and doesn't make it past the copyright page, you know the book is so short it should be free. Save your money.

This story does move fast and can seem like it is jumping around but this is her style; gets right to the point, so if like her other books you will also like this one. I can't wait for the series to continue.

I wanted to read a sample of the book before buying it, so I got the "free sample". None of the book was in it.so all I can say about the book is don't bother with the sample. I am not going to buy the book, so I can't tell you anything.  Personally I believe that the sample should wet your appetite for the story. Not give you less than the short overview.. I like  this writer so I'll give it an ehh and two stars.
